STEP 1: FEEL,[object Object],Amidst the various issues faced by children, we considered the most vulnerable one as the TELEVISION ,which when not utilized properly creates a lot of behavioral change in them.,[object Object],Heavy television watching is likely to ,[object Object],affect performance in school.,[object Object],may even affect children's development. ,[object Object],Create great risk in becoming overweight.,[object Object],Affect natural sleeping rhythms thus may result in daytime fatigue and other health problems. ,[object Object],TV viewing in infants and toddlers is linked to irregular sleeping patterns,[object Object]
Seeing the problem in our friends,[object Object],We took a survey  among our,[object Object],    friends on the different channels ,[object Object],    watched by them and also the ,[object Object],   time spent before T.V. at home.,[object Object],We checked for children who spent ,[object Object],   a lot of time before T.V and were really ,[object Object],    shocked to see that they  all have,[object Object],under-performed in school.,[object Object],We  also found  that many of those kids,[object Object],    watched programs like serials, ,[object Object],   reality shows, etc. not suitable ,[object Object],   for their age.(confirmed in the picture,[object Object],   taken in our friends house),[object Object]
 ILL-EFFECTS & ROOT CAUSES,[object Object],All these children exhibited violent ,[object Object],behavior  and care-free attitude.,[object Object],They were all less interested in class,[object Object], with drooping  eyes.,[object Object],We had a discussion with our friends ,[object Object],to find out why they watch such,[object Object],programs. ,[object Object],The prime two reasons were:,[object Object],[object Object],elders,[object Object],[object Object],channels,[object Object]
STEP 2: IMAGINE,[object Object],We discussed the various  possibilities of bringing up a significant change addressing the issue in a week’s time. Many ideas popped up.,[object Object],[object Object]
Ban the T.V connection at home.
Persuade the parents  to have remote locks for channels.
Send the children for tuitions.,[object Object]
    Second for the children(our friends),[object Object]
To discuss with children about current affairs everyday.
To spend time with them in indoor games, outdoor games ,etc,[object Object]
We also said that a child will be called upon in assembly and he/she has to say a glimpse of news what they had watched the previous day which in turn ,[object Object],carries grades to their respective school House groups.,[object Object],[object Object]
