24. 7. REALIZAR UN COMENTARIO FINAL PARA CADA UNA DE LAS AFIRMACIONES O
NEGACIONES.
A. En el artículo 18, el estudio menciona una fuerte
evidencia de que Irbesartán conduce a una reducción
en los costos durante el tratamiento y el aumento de la
esperanza de vida en comparación con el tratamiento
estándar, cabe mencionar que el tipo de estudio del
artículo es un evaluación económica de costo
efectividad, por lo cual no presenta un nivel de
evidencia y de recomendación.
B. Irbesartán demostró según el artículo 11, 12 y 18
que presenta más años de vida ganado comparado con
otros fármacos de uso convencional en el uso de la
HTA, esto asociado a un costo más bajo.
25. C. La reducción de costos entre el uso de Irbesartán
tardío y las terapias convencionales según la publicidad
es de 14.000 dólares, está afirmación es cierta, según
los artículos encontrados (artículo 18) se evidencia una
reducción de aproximada 20. 000.
D. La propaganda médica afirma que si bien el costo de
medicamentos es mayor cuando se usa Irbesartán temprano, el
costo total es menor, pues la reducción o el ahorro es significativo
cuando se toman en cuenta los tratamientos asociados a las
complicaciones renales; en los estudios referenciados se
comprueba el efecto nefroprotector del Irbesartán pero no se
menciona la asociación a otros fármacos para evitar las
complicaciones renales y la disminución de costos.
26. E. . La propaganda médica afirma que se puede recomendar el
uso de Irbesartán durante tratamientos a largo plazo para
pacientes con diabetes tipo 2 con o sin hipertensión, con el fin de
reducir el riesgo de progresión de la nefropatía, mejorar la
supervivencia, la calidad de vida y los costos asociados al
tratamiento. Esta afirmación se comprueba en los artículos 8,11,12
y 18 referenciados en la publicidad. Si bien en el artículo 8
mencionan el efecto nefroprotector del Irbesartán en pacientes
diabéticos e hipertensos, el artículo es una revisión técnica del
tratamiento en pacientes adultos; en el artículo se citan estudios
con un nivel de evidencia. En el artículo 11, los datos revelan que
irbesartán es renoprotector en pacientes con diabetes tipo 2 y
nefropatía manifiesta y que reduce de forma considerable la
progresión de la glomerulopatía, al igual en el artículo 12; en el 18
se evidencia la reducción de costos que señala la publicidad.
27. En conclusión, la propaganda
médica en estudio presenta
información confiable, según
las referencias mencionadas
proceden de un nivel de
evidencia de tipo 1a y 1b
con un nivel de
recomendación A, por lo tanto
PROBERTAN se considera un
fármaco recomendable para
la aplicación de las
afirmaciones emitidas y
encontradas..
