TRADER'S VILLAGE, FLEA MARKET, HOUSTON, TX 1/2005 - PRESENT
Operations Manager
Oversee daily activities for the Trader's Village. Manage Security, interview and recruit constables and sheriffs and schedule times
and dates for four to five deputies. Directs operations of a seven lane pay parking for the Toll Plaza, register entrance for vendors
and individuals who live on property in the RV Park. Prepare X and Z reports, transport employees to and from tolls and create
schedules for Grounds/cleanup. Manage 10 to 12 grounds crew, create schedule, assign specific areas to clean and provide push
carts, golf carts, dust pans and brooms to pick up and empty trash, sweep and clean the entire market. Coordinate with waste
management to schedule transport of trash in three big compactors. Monitor and manage six employees cleaning three
restrooms in the market and 20 restrooms in the RV Park, create schedule, provide cleaning supplies and facilitate safety classes
to educate staff on how to use the cleaning materials properly. Manage inventory of supplies and order needed materials weekly.
Process payroll for the department and review time sheets to ensure hours worked are correct and all time sheets are printed and
signed. Assist in planning and setting up for events, recruit extra staff if needed from other departments.
