00.1 Intro
Questo è un manuale di sopravvivenza al blog.
Hai scelto il TEMA più interessante e ora ti trovi con un bel blog ricco di speranze, ma vuoto.
Ok, non è vuoto, sull'onda dell'entusiasmo hai scritto i primi post, ma l'ultimo ha tre settimane...
Questo manuale è una risposta pratica alla solita domanda "e adesso che faccio?"
Bisogna essere organizzati, creare una tabella di marcia per la creazione di contenuti che vi mostri
che tipo di contenuti creare, quale argomento coprire, per chi e la frequenza di pubblicazione adatta.
Un minimo di organizzazione ti sarà di grande aiuto per vedere quello che hai già coperto e che
cosa hai intenzione di coprire la settimana prossima o il mese prossimo, in modo da poter almeno
limitare le opzioni.

01.1 Piano editoriale
Hai un TEMA del blog giusto? Hai anche definito, con una certa approssimazione, chi
sono i tuoi UTENTI e quali sono i loro bisogni, vero?
Il piano editoriale è il taglio, l’argomentazione, la caratterizzazione che intendi dare a tutto quello che
hai da dire su quel tema.
Comincia dagli aspetti che vuoi trattare.
Puoi decidere di affrontare:
­ aspetto tecnico
­ aspetto sociale
­ aspetto ecologico
­ aspetto ludico
­ aspetto relazionale (gli eventi...)
Già ognuno di per sè potrebbe costituire un TEMA per il tuo blog (sai la nicchia...), oppure a te
interessa presentarne solo alcuni, perchè quelle sono le tue competenze o per differenziarti da altri
blog.

Il tuo PIANO EDITORIALE è pronto e hai in mente due o tre cose sulle quali potresti
scrivere un post interessante, ma non è abbastanza.
Se vuoi essere un riferimento per i tuoi UTENTI devi metterti nelle condizioni di essere
costantemente rifornito di notizie.
Cerca le tue sorgenti così:
­ usa google alert
­ nei blog­roll dei blog che segui
­ nelle fonti dei post che leggi
­ risali lungo i follower in twitter
­ riviste, giornali, libri
­ leggi, leggi, leggi... sei tu l'esperto di questo TEMA!
Prendi nota delle date importanti o eventi esterni che possono essere buoni argomenti per specifici
contenuti (ad esempio, le principali festività o una mostra importante).
Cerca di riutilizzare i contenuti. Ad esempio, la pubblicazione di un white paper o di un report
potrebbe valere diversi post di piccoli dettagli per il tuo blog.
Crea schede separate per ogni tipo di contenuto pubblicato (blog, webinar, ebook, video, ecc) in
modo da assicurarsi che si sta pubblicando abbastanza di ogni tipo di contenuto.

Avete steso un PIANO EDITORIALE da urlo, ora dovete mettere ordine.
Portare avanti un blog può essere un lavoro di gruppo:
­ eterogeneo, individua persone con talenti diversi
­ motivato, cercane il coinvolgimento, se non se la sentono lascia perdere
­ operativo, assicurati che abbiano il tempo necessario, i mezzi e una certa libertà di azione
Poi non avete solo da pubblicare articoli nuovi, un blog in salute richiede cure continue e lavoretti
diversi che devi scadenziare lungo l'arco del mese, di settimana in settimana, giorno per giorno.
Ricorda che non devi sederti davanti alla tastiera e chiederti "e ora che faccio?"

04.1 Palinsesto
Avere un ritmo è fondamentale.
Pubblicare 6 articoli il venerdì o quando capita non è una grande strategia, gli UTENTI apprezzano
scadenze fisse... regolarità. Per capire quale tipo di frequenza gradiscono i tuoi lettori:
­ tieni monitorate le reazioni dei tuoi lettori in seguito all'aumento della frequenza dei post pubblicati
(calo/aumento dei visitatori o delle pagine viste, ecc).
­ osserva il numero dei commenti ricevuti: generalmente se si pubblicano più post in un giorno il
numero di commenti si abbassa, mentre pubblicando un solo post al giorno i commenti aumentano.
Quando il numero dei commenti inizia a stabillizzarsi, è il momento di pubblicare un nuovo post.
La “rotazione” del PALINSESTO può cambiare in base a diversi fattori:
­ l'argomento
­ il tipo di post (tutorials o semplici news)
­ il tempo di cui disponete
­ il vostro pubblico
­ il numero di autori del blog
Ecco alcune idee per la gestione del tuo calendario editoriale:
­ 3 post ben fatti a settimana (lunedì, mercoledì e venerdì per esempio), implementabili nel tempo
fino ad arrivare a 5 (uno per ogni giorno lavorativo).
­ Prepara i post della settimana durante il weekend, per dedicare gli altri giorni a qualche notizia
fresca e rilevante.
­ Pubblica due post ben struttrurati a settimana e altri due più brevi, in cui poni domande, avvii una
conversazione, pubblichi un video attinente, per dare la possibilità al lettore di assimilare il concetto.
­ Crea un numero di categorie pari ai giorni della settimana in cui vuoi pubblicare i post: la
suddivisione in categorie correlate ai giorni della settimana aiuta molto l'organizzazione delle idee e
del materiale.
­ Scegli la frequenza di pubblicazione in base alle usanze tipiche dei tuoi lettori, se ne hanno.

05.1 Strumenti
Puoi fare tutto senza alcun supporto, ma faccio fatica a crederlo.
In realtà ti devi segnare gli appunti quando capitano, devi metterli in ordine, devi forse condividerli,
metterti d'accordo con gli altri e organizzare seguire il PALINSESTO.
Per far questo, consiglio un set di strumenti leggeri, agili nell'uso e accessibili ovunque:
annotazioni
­ un bel taccuino
­ uno smart phone
­ un computer... quando serve non ce l'hai
scrittura
­ Google Drive
ci riporti le annotazioni, le riordini, le rielabori, le condividi con gli altri REDATTORI
organizzazione
­ Outlook, Google Calendar o un foglio di calcolo.
Non è importante con cosa, ma pianificate con un anticipo di almeno 3 mesi.
Definisci le routine del PALINSESTO settimanale, mensile e le condividi con gli altri REDATTORI
Compila ogni giorno con i compiti precisi da fare. Per ogni data, elenca l'argomento, il titolo del
pezzo e il personaggio per cui si scrive. L'obiettivo è quello di creare un buon mix di tipi di contenuto,
argomenti e personaggi, per assicurarsi che si stanno coprendo tutti i segmenti.

Un buon post:
­ ha un titolo chiaro e accattivante
­ non contiene più informazioni del necessario
­ è scritto in modo informale, quasi colloquiale
­ esprime un'opinione personale
­ utilizza un linguaggio immediato, amichevole, talvolta ironico
­ è grammaticalmente e ortograficamente corretto
­ diventa uno spunto di riflessione per il lettore
­ comunica informazioni attuali, interessanti e originali
­ contiene almeno un link di approfondimento
­ contiene numeri, dati e risultati precisi (di cui va sempre citata la fonte)
Per capire se il vostro stile è adatto al vostro scopo, rispondete ad una semplice domanda: voi
leggereste il vostro blog?

Usare video e immagini per avere post più ricchi e avvincenti.
Oggi, grazie allo sviluppo e alla diffusione dei Social Media, è possibile creare un collegamento tra il
vostro blog e le immagini o i video caricati per esempio su Flickr o Youtube, per usufruire di
contenuti multimediali in alta qualità, senza appesantire eccessivamente e inutilmente il vostro blog.
Utilizzate quindi:
­ Youtube e Vimeo per pubblicare video e tutorials, creando un canale con il nome del vostro blog.
­ Flickr, Pinterest e Instagram per le immagini
­ Slideshare, Picasa, Scrapblog per condividere presentazioni fotografiche o in Powerpoint.
­ Facebook, Twitter, Google+, MySpace per far conoscere voi e il vostro blog.
In questo modo, oltre a non avere problemi e rallentamenti dovuti al caricamento di immagini e
video, avrete la possibilità di crearvi una presenza all'interno di questi Social Media.
Essere attivi nei Social Media vi permetterà di migliorare la vostra visibilità, di aumentare il traffico
verso il vostro blog ma anche di raggiungere utenti attivi solo all'interno di uno di questi canali sociali.
Tutto di guadagnato quindi nel connettere il vostro blog con i Social Media: ora è possibile farlo
anche molto semplicemente, grazie agli strumenti che agevolano l'integrazione dei Social Media
all'interno dei blog, come per esempio Facebook Connect.
