2. MIKE MYERS
An actor, comedian and a true New Yorker. Playing sports
around town whenever he can. Being apart of his community
and contributing to the culture of this great city.
3. COPA NYC
In their second year, Copa NYC has gained support from the
United Nations, Mayor Bloomberg and the City of New York.
Bringing together 16 National teams to compete in a World
Cup style tournament for the coveted Mayor’s Cup.
4. With a powerful mission to expand the interest and talent of
New York City soccer players, Copa NYC has made an
incredible impact on the culture of this great city as well.

Copa NYC 2010
July 24-25 at Pier 40
July 31-Aug 1 at Flushing Meadows
7. The following are a few good ideas we’d like to present to Mike
Myers. Going from most involvement to least. Our goal here is
to promote Copa NYC to make it bigger and better each year.
Having Mike involved would give Copa NYC the support it
needs to successfully meet that goal, as well as providing great,
free PR for Mike! Being seen as a positive influencer and
passionate for grassroots NYC sports.
8. IDEA 1
A Viral Video.
Copa NYC will be held at Pier 40 Saturday & Sunday, July 24-25.
Apparently, if you do not play soccer in NYC, you are not aware of Pier 40. Half
of the battle to get people to an event is to make sure they know where it is!
Let’s have Mike dribble a soccer ball to Pier 40 from Broadway/Houston.
Creative beyond this can be up to his team, our team or all together. Perhaps a
rap or Mike just being Mike dribbling a soccer ball. Anything just showing the
audience how to get to Pier 40 and showing Mike’s character.
Timing is rough on this one.
- Tomorrow/Wed./Thur. record/produce.
- Thur./Fri. edit.
- Fri./Sat. release.
We completely understand that this is very late notice, but would love to keep
this idea in mind for possible production for next year’s Copa NYC 2011.
9. IDEA 2
Mike Myers Official Copa NYC Announcer
We have a partnership going with LiveStream.com. You can check out our channel
www.LiveStream.com/CopaNYC. We will have the LivePack which has 6 modems
insuring the highest quality and streaming. We’d like to get some commentary
going as people across the world will be watching our channel to see who wins!
Mike would be perfect. He’s funny and knows the game. He would know what to
call out or at least just being himself so everyone would be able to identify with
him and have a good time even just over the Internet. It would be fun for Mike
too by combining his two talents and passions.
Timing and Commitment.
The tournament is Saturday and Sunday at Pier 40. Saturday, the tournament runs all day from
8am to 8pm. Sunday is still TBD at this moment. Mike can select how ever long or short he’d like
to participate in this idea. Minimum commitment of an hour to announce which ever game Mike is
most interested in. The more games Mike would like announce the better of course! Please see
the schedule on the next page.

Just having Mike attend the tournament would be a pleasure. No commitment

will do everything in our power to make it happen.
Timing
- Saturday, July 24: whenever between 8am - 8pm at Pier 40
- Sunday, July 25: Time still TBD at Pier 40
- Saturday, July 31: Time still TBD at Flushing Meadows
- Sunday, August 1: Time still TBD at Flushing Meadows,
NYC TV will be broadcasting live at 4pm
12. IDEA 4
Basic Digital Promotion
Mike Myers has a huge fan base. A lot of them aren’t aware of his passion for
soccer and hockey, let alone how he plays grassroots sports throughout the city.
A simple email blast and social media outreach to Mike’s fan base telling them
about Copa NYC and his support for grassroots sports in NYC would be great!
Encouraging others to be active in their communities, as well as supporting
Copa NYC if they are New Yorkers.
Timing
- Tomorrow/Wed. produce email.
- Wed./Thur. send out to databases.
- Thur./Fri. post to social media.

You Tell Us
We’d like to open the floor for you and Mike to share your ideas. Whether these
be ideas from heading up a Canadian or Scottish Copa NYC team for next year, to
encouraging children, their families and/or the teams that Mike plays with to come
to the tournament this weekend.
We are extremely open and biased for crazy ideas. The more grassroots the better.
We are a full-service ad agency called Anomaly so the ideas and resources are
here for your taking and using. Please feel free to let your mind wonder. Some of
our work in the past includes the Diesel Be Stupid campaign and Converse’s
Connectivity and Domaination campaigns. We strive to be different and push the
envelope in the mainstream of things, as well as immersing ourselves in local causes
like Copa NYC that we can truly put ourselves behind and promote.
14. Thank you for your time and
consideration baby!
Please feel free to contact us
at Anomaly at any time to let
us know what you think and
to get the ball rolling on this.
Again, even just opening the
door to things we could do
together next year is all
we’re looking for.
