Born 1962• Directed over 150 films including, Seven
(1995), Flubber (1997) and The Orphan (2009)
•Founder of two internationally recognised
Film design companies which were the
‘imaginary forces’ and ‘prologue films’.
•Received the award M.F.A in Graphic Design.
•Holds the title of Royal Designer for Industry from the Royal
Society of Arts in London.
•He started his career as a creative designer after he left
Yale at an advertising company in Los Angeles and New York.
During this time Cooper created a title sequence for Se7en.This
Inspired many new young designers.
•His greatest influence in his choice of profession is Stephan
Frankfurt’s opening title sequence for ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’.

The Font Cooper decided to use was handwritten. He chose to do
this because the main character is a serial killer and its
meant to be that he is ‘scratching’ all his own ideas into his
diary.

The Font Cooper used in this title sequence is very child like.
He chose to do this asit is also like Seven handwriting that the
main character has.
