Engineer Ahmed Wagih Abd El-Hamid
Whilst I have only known Ahmed Wagih for some eight months I am please to write this
reference for him.
I am acting as Mr. Wagih’s mentor assisting him with his application to join the Institution of
Civil Engineers in the UK and during our regular meetings he has impressed me with his
knowledge of the work he has undertaken and the confidence he shows when describing
events that have arise during the course of construction and how he dealt with them.
In the different projects that have been assigned to him, Mr. Wagih’s duties have included
being responsible for organising and managing company and subcontract labour,
undertaking liaison with client representatives and managed the overall construction
programme and commercial aspects and overall delivery of the completed works.
It is commendable to note that Mr. Wagih has contacted me with a view to using his
qualifications and experience to achieve professional status by joining the ICE.
