Port-Cros National Park is a French national park located on the Mediterranean island of Port-Cros in Var. It was created in 1963 and covers 2,000 hectares of land and 1,300 hectares of sea. The park is home to diverse flora and fauna, including 602 plant species, 500 algae species, 144 bird species, 180 fish species, and some endemic land species such as the Sardinian discoglose frog and European gecko.
