Yes its primary vision is to be an aggregator or a super aggregator, the aggregators aggregator...............developing and promoting standards and access to shared repositories of cross walks and thesauri, enriching content and making it accessible through one portal
But maybe more importantly it should be a distributor via API’s
Is to be the Aggregator of interoperable European cultural content, to deliver a portal for end users and enable re-use of both content and the resulting structures. To manage this process we will also encourage aggregation down the line. i.e national portals, vertical portals and to create an open source flexible system able to provide as well as aggregate. The provision is part of the value of proposition
