Personal Profile
From the age of six for 15 years I was a figure skater and ice dancer. I represented Czechoslovakia in
international competitions from 1978 to 1981. Thereafter based on my family experience my father and
grandfather were designer and clothing manufacturers in Austria I began my professional training as a fashion
designer I gained extensive knowledge of the fashion industry. In Slovakia I worked for the National Theatre,
Bratislava as their artistic and costumer director.

high standard within budget. Highly motivated and passionate about good design and quality sustainable
clothing I have worked successfully on my own or as part of a team.

Cover Letter
I grew up surrounded by fashion and design in Europe. My grandmother was a designer, as was my
mother, so it is only natural that my passion for design finally evolved into Hawaii International Fashion
LLC.
Whilst married for 22 years I was not allowed to practice my passion and love for fashion design. As most
mothers would I chose to focus on my children, my husbands business and running the household. Once
my children left the next, I decided to leave my very lavish lifestyle, and the life I knew to pursue my life’s
purpose and heart’s longing – fashion and design. A difficult but necessary decision, at 47 years old, I left
Slovakia and moved to London. There I taught myself English, and found a new sense of liberation and
freedom. My first job in London was as a model, which is how I found my niche into the fashion and design
industry, designing lingerie for different companies. After gaining significant experience and confidence, I
began my own company designing evening dresses, gowns and lingerie. My designs are still worn in
Chelsea and around London today.
With my additional back ground in house/interior design I was offered a job in the Caribbean. The
warm weather was a great enticement and the Caribbean provided a solid foundation for house and
interior design. I returned to London after two and a half years, however, realized the weather was
no longer suitable so left for Tenerife and continued interior design for several clients.
Inspired by the movie Blue Hawaii, I travelled to Hawaii for a vacation. It did not take long at all to
fall in love with Hawaii and I have been fortunate to call it my home for two years now. Surrounded
by the beauty and the positive energy of Oahu I was inspired to create my new fashion design
company Hawaii International Fashion LLC and worked feverishly on new creations and design.
The inspiration for my individually hand crafted pieces, stems from my desire to share unique and beautiful
garments so all women can feel special and unique wearing them.
