3. Responsibilities/Activities
 Perform liaison duties with the other agencies such as consultant, and sub-contractor
Organizations.
 Technical appraisals, scrutiny of cost reasonableness, and scheduling of works/methodology to
insure optimum utility of all available resources to accomplish timely and economic completion in
accordance with engineering codes/standards and practices.
 Handling all the contractual matters pertaining to Construction Contracts, submission of
statements/notifications under the terms of the contracts for engineers’ decision, opinion, and
expression of satisfaction for approvals.
 Identification of the contractual variations with respect to the original scope of work and originate
and settle the change orders, revised costs, as built drawings etc and accomplish final
completion.
 Scrutiny of ambiguities in the working drawing and remove barriers in the progress on the job -
site.
 Conduct extensive studies and reply thereof to check and control each activity, particularly
technical and about the cash flow, billing and matters pertaining to progress, performance,
quality control and project finances.
 Comparative studies of building materials, qualities/cost and finalization.
 Timely and proper submission of periodical progress reports, re-conciliation statements, and
progressive bills etc.
