5. Installing LaTeX on windows
Step 1
Download and install MikTeX.
Around 1.2GB space is required.
Step 2 download and install TeXmaker
10. Configuring TeX Maker
Click on the Commands icon
PDF Viewer > browse and give the location of Adobe
reader application
Click on the QuickBuild icon
Select pdflatex+view PDF
11. Your first LaTeX document
Wizard>QuickStart>Report
Type anything between begin{document} and
end{document}
Save your file as filename.tex
Click Quickbuild(builds the pdf and displays it in
adobe reader)
Remember – always close the built PDF in order to
build it again
