The Mundus legacy – participation of nationals from non- MEDIA
countries
Up to 20% of "non – MEDIA" professionals in the "normal" case
(80% of the supported projects)
Up to 50% in "international" training courses (maximum 20% of
the supported projects) aimed at collaboration between MEDIA and
non- MEDIA professionals
End of the initial training scheme (opportunities in E+)

+/- 80 training initiatives (1500 professionals per year)

19. EUROPEAN COOPERATION PROJECTS
+/- 100 supported projects per year
Budget in 2014: € 38 M
Targeted projects
•Training sessions, workshops, preparation of materials,
websites for this purpose, etc.;
•Stays and residencies. The activities can include artistic
creation, including co-creations and co-productions.
•Cultural organisations coming together to co-produce and/or
perform and tour in different venues/events in different
countries.
•Transnational exchanges of artefacts with a particular
European dimension…

ANNUAL CALLS:
•Category 1 - Smaller scale projects: 1 project leader and 2 other
partners having their legal seats in participating countries Maximum

•Category 2 – larger scale cooperation projects:

participating countries - Maximum EUR 2.000.000 – 50% of total
eligible costs

Reinforcing the skills, competences and know-how of
creative players
Strengthen international networking in order to facilitate
access to professional opportunities
Networks shall be active in the cultural and creative
sectors and consist of at least 15 member organisations
legally established in at least 10 different countries
participating in the Culture Sub-programme.

•Only 2 calls during the entire duration of the Creative Europe
programme (2013/2017)

23. European Platforms
+/- 10 projects per year – Budget for 2014: € 3,4M
•Support to cultural and creative organisations showcasing and
promoting European creators and artists which form a platform
composed of a coordination entity and at least 10 member
organisations.
•The coordination entity manages the platform and its activities. It
selects its members according to criteria ensuring the achievement of
the objectives & priorities of the scheme. The coordination entity
may also award financial support to members.
• Only 3 calls during the entire duration of the programme
(2014/2015/2017)
