1. GOD
In our previous study we saw that the term
“God” in Genesis 1:1 is plural.
Consequently, the Godhead (Rom 1:20)
consists of three distinct beings referred to
as God the Father, God the Son and God
the Holy Spirit. These three are spirits and
have distinct personalities. Today we will
examine what the Bible teaches
concerning God the Son.

We must obey God, the Son’s New
Testament perfect law of liberty to be
saved. 2 Peter 1:3 declares that we have
been given all things that pertain to life
and godliness. Obedience to His
commands is required. He obeyed the
Father and we must obey the Son. Hear
what He commands:

the Son
