Pocahontas and Powhatan explain to Joel the history of their Lenmanian Indian heritage and their ability to communicate with wolves. They reveal that their great aunt Suni was responsible for wiping out the Lenmanian clan, and is now after Pocahontas and Powhatan. The siblings and Joel were escorted to a safe house by wolves for the night to avoid Suni, who attacked them in the park.

1. Forever Flowing: The Azure Legacy Chapter 2.2 CC from loads of places As Forever Flowing as the Blue Sky.

2. So here’s a bit of a recap (or you could just read the previous chapters :P): So we started with Aiyana Azure, who’s name means forever flowing blue sky, she made her way through college, married Jim Player and had two children: Pocahontas and Powhatan. The children were close and raised in the ways of the Lenmana Indians with loves for art, dance, nature and family values. Pocahontas and Powhatan are currently college students and, as we found out last chapter, both not doing so good in the Romance Department. Powhatan walked in on his crush with another man in bed and Pocahontas, well hasn’t quite gotten to that point. Anyways onto the chapter!

3. “Powhatan, Numat* Where did you run off to?” Pocahontas worried about him. She had noticed him run out but didn’t see where he had gone. Tidbit: NUMAT(nuh-MAHT) is Algonquin for “my younger brother” If it was Powhatan he would say NUMIS(nuh-MEECE) which means “my older sister”.

4. The party had ended and Toga clad students were leaving Luyu Angeni (free/dove spirit). Pocahontas rushed upstairs to change she changed out of her toga and into her clothes.

5. “Pocahontas where are you going?” Danielle asked. Danielle had already changed to her clothes. Pocahontas’ mind was set on finding her brother that she didn’t notice her housemate seeming a little sullen. “I need to find my brother, I don’t know what happened but he ran out during the party.” Pocahontas said before heading out.

6. “Poc-” Danielle started but her housemate was already out the door. ‘-It was my fault” Danielle finished her statement to herself. Danielle sighed, what was she going to do? She thought of Powhatan, they weren’t dating but why did she feel so guilty. Danielle Turned on the television and watched it.

7. Even that didn’t help, it seemed as if everything that was on had some form of romance on it. Danielle sighed. And went to work on the computer.

8. Pocahontas checked the amphitheatre…

9. The campus coffee house…

10. The gym…

11. The quad…

12. And even the library. But She couldn’t find her brother anywhere. Although she did bump into another familiar face.

13. “Hey Pocahontas long time no see” Joel joked knowing that about an hour ago they were both toga clad. “Yeah I know really” Pocahontas said but her smile faded. “What’s up?” “My brother ran off during the party and I’ve looked almost everywhere. I'm worried.” “Let’s sit down”

14. The two sat down next to each other on the couch as Pocahontas took some deep breathes. “Are you sure you checked everywhere?” Joel asked. “The usual places yes” “Well I don’t know your brother that well but what does he like to do?”

15. “Well he studies, he likes instruments…” “Did you check the amphitheatre?” “Yeah he wasn’t there” “Ok what else?” “Well he works out, I already checked the gym, I also checked the coffee house and the quad.”

16. “I see what about a friend’s place? Or your parents house?” “He’s not very sociable, he mentioned not having anyone to bring when I told him about the party. And he’s too stubborn to go to my parents.” Pocahontas thought for a moment about when she was a teenager how she ran off to the beach because she felt overwhelmed. “Nature, he likes nature, it’s a family thing”

17. Joel stood up suddenly to Pocahontas shock as if he knew where to find her brother. Pocahontas blinked as she looked at her friend. “What-” She started. “Chestnut Park, did you check there?” “No I didn’t know there was a park around campus.” “Lets go”

18. Joel was right about that Powhatan had ran away to the park it was the closest to nature he could get. Although more subtle, Powhatan had the nature loving trait that the rest of the family had. Probably went with the Lenmanian Indian blood that flowed through his veins.

19. He tried his hand at fishing it was something he had wanted to do but never got the chance to. He put on the bait and threw it into the water.

20. Pocahontas and Joel found their way to the park. Pocahontas looked around at the beauty of the place, why she had ever not known was beyond her. She touched one of the trees and reflected.

21. But her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice in the distance near the pond. Joel and Pocahontas looked quickly and noticed that Powhatan had fallen while he tried to fish.

22. “There he is.” Joel pointed out. “I know” Pocahontas said but didn’t move. “What’s wrong?”

23. Pocahontas watched her brother get up and continue to fish again. He was keeping to himself not acknowledging anything around him other than the fishing rod.

24. ‘Pocahontas?” Joel’s concerned voice broke Pocahontas from her trance. She looked at him then took a deep breath.

25. Pocahontas headed over to her younger brother. She was worried more about his reaction than anything. What would he do when he found out she was there? And most of all how was she going to ask him what was wrong?

26. “Powhatan? I’ve been looking everywhere for you” Pocahontas finally spoke up. Powhatan seemed to jump a little she must have startled him and broken his concentration. “Sorry I didn’t mean to startle you” “Really?” Powhatan mumbled. Pocahontas nodded.”Can I join you?” “Sure whatever”

27. Pocahontas was able to rent a rod and stood next to him as she cast it. “I didn’t know you were interested in fishing” She started. “I’ve always been, just never got the chance” The boy shrugged. “Looks like a lot of fun!” Pocahontas said.

28. But her thoughts didn’t last long when she found herself slipping and falling on the muddy ground. That got a laugh out of Powhatan but he helped her up anyway. “Ow that hurts” “It happens” Powhatan looked at his older sister as she got back to fishing.

29. Joel watched as the two siblings communicated, he wasn’t sure how long they would be although something told him that there was something odd about this night. He watched Powhatan help his sister up. As he stood near the tree.

30. “So, wha-” Pocahontas started. “Your not only here to look for me you want to know what happened at the party?” Powhatan broke into his sister’s sentence. “Actually, I was going to ask what you caught so far. But I guess that’ll work too.” Pocahontas finally put the rod back. “So what do you REALLY want to know then?” Powhatan said in his usual stubborn tone. “Will saying ‘both’ count?” Pocahontas scratched her head

31. Powhatan sighed sharply as he put the rod away and faced his sister. “Look Numis* parties really aren’t my thing, I don’t think you should invite me to anymore.” “But Luyu Angeni is the house mom started. I was hoping-” “I’m NOT pledging while Danielle is there!” Powhatan said stubbornly. Numis= My older sister

32. The way he said Danielle's name shocked Pocahontas how could her brother who had a crush on the girl so long all of a sudden do a complete 180 with his feelings for her. Something must have happened between them at the party but what Pocahontas needed was an answer. “What happened between you and Danielle?” “Nothing happened ok!” Powhatan said The siblings started to argue.

33. Joel noticed the tension and he almost forgot about his surroundings when he heard an unfamiliar voice from behind him. “Well wellwell look what we have here.” Joel turned around to face a woman he had never seen before she was wearing odd clothing made of cloth as she watched Pocahontas and Powhatan from the trees. “Who are you?” The punkish boy asked.

34. “That is none of your concern, I was looking for them!” The woman said with an evil look on her face, putting pressure on the word ‘THEM”.

35. The woman creeped Joel out , the thing was, he usually wasn’t afraid of anything. He noticed her pull something from the pocket of her cloth dress . She pushed Joel Away and into the Tree as she started to say something under her breath. “POCAHONTAS!” Joel yelled.

36. The siblings continued to bicker. Powhatan beating around the bush and Pocahontas trying to get him to tell her what was wrong. It wasn’t until the two heard Joel yell when they stopped and turned around and came almost face to face with a woman who looked like the people their mother mentioned in her stories, the clothing, the looks everything.

37. The woman continued her spell which Joel noticed was aimed at Pocahontas. Joel got up and ran in front of the siblings as he was ready for the hit. But it was then when something surprising happened.

38. A flash of white black and brown passed in front of him as he felt something fall onto his back.

39. When the dust cleared there was a black wolf over him as the mysterious woman was also surrounded by other wolves. The wolf on top of him growled at him. All Joel could do was blink.

40. “Silly boy” Bono growled at the guy he had just knocked down but he had been hit by the spell. The guy wasn’t too familiar to him but he had seen him around the dorms Pocahontas and Powhatan were in. He most likely didn’t understand what he said since he couldn’t sense any Lenmanian Indian in him. Bono groaned in pain.

41. Pocahontas and Powhatan noticed a grey wolf in front of them as Aimee, Bono, and the other wolves surrounded the woman. “You two” They heard a strong female voice different from Aimee’s come from the wolf.”We have to take your friend and get out of this park, ASAP.”

42. “But what about Bono is he going to be alright?” Pocahontas said concerned. “My mate Danno’s a healing wolf, Bono will be fine!” the female wolf said. “I’m Calla now listen to me carefully…”

43. Joel felt another wolf start to drag him out from under the weaker black wolf, while a forth wolf was barking at Pocahontas and Powhatan. He had no clue what was going on and why did the woman want them, what were the wolves doing here. They were all barking at the moment and odd as he found it, Poc and Pow seemed to understand them. Now he was confused.

44. The wolves growled at the woman getting ready to attack while two of them escorted the siblings and Joel. “Come on you two we have to hurry and get you to a safe zone, I’m not sure how long the pack can hold her off.” Calla ordered.

45. “Ok can someone PLEASE explain to me what is going on here?” Joel said. A night that started off as a toga party started to turn chaotic, mysterious women appearing, and wolves who seemed to come out of nowhere.

46. “Well the woman’s name is Suni and she’s-” Calla started. “Calla two out of three of us can understand you” Powhatan said to the wolf. “I figured that Powhatan, but he doesn’t need to know now. Although you can tell him later when were safe.” Calla said. “Joel we’ll have to fill you in later, we have to just trust them.” Pocahontas said. “But how can I-” Joel started but a stern look from Powhatan quieted him.

47. “Are you ready NOW to listen?” Calla said with slight annoyance in her voice. “Yes Calla sorry you can continue” Pocahontas said. “The woman’s name is Suni, she is your mother’s aunt, your great aunt and she is one of the three known survivors of the Lenmanian Clan. She is the one who wiped them out in the first place….” Calla recited

48. The group started up walking again as Pocahontas listened to the wolf’s words and watched the other much quieter wolf sniff around. She remembered back to her first day at university, the sparkling woman’s words came back to her. “Beware of your ancestors” Pocahontas said out loud getting looks from the group. “What?” Powhatan asked.

49. Pocahontas looked around at the group who had stopped again. “Beware of your ancestors. Someone told me that when I first came to Sim State.” Pocahontas repeated she didn’t want to say it was a sparking woman who said it by the look on Joel’s face he was already weirded out. “This is crazy!” Joel said throwing his arms in the air.

50. “Suni is after you and your brother Pocahontas-” Calla started. But was cut off when the other wolf stared into the distance. He was quite alert and Calla turned her attention to him. “What do you sense Thorley?” Calla asked.

51. “There is a presence within the safe zone.” Thorley said. “Ok, so what is this safe zone?” Powhatan asked. “Is it a good one or bad one?” Calla asked. “It’s safe, female and kind of forlorn.” Calla faced the direction Thorley was and everyone looked to see….

52. Luyu Angeni “Lets just say your mother picked a good place for your family college house, or whatever you call it.” Calla answered Powhatan’s question.

53. “Alright, we leave you be but I suggest these two stay here for the night.” Calla said. “I already know you live here. But just as a precaution, tomorrow all of you should be fine to go back to your other places of residence.” “Why are the wolves looking at us like that?” Joel asked. “Nothing to worry about, she just wants us to stay here for the night because it’s not safe.” Powhatan said.

54. “Ok well since everything is just strange tonight anyway, I guess I’ll do this.” Joel said baffled.

55. “Alright now that’s settled go right into there and stay.” Calla said. “The pack will be keeping an eye on you.”

56. The three listened to the wolves as they headed inside the Greek house.

57. “You sure they’ll be alright there?” Thorley asked. “Since she was a young child Aiyana had been able to sense the best places, even where their home stands is a safe zone. It’s a power that she doesn’t know she has but it pulls her to the right direction” Calla answered. The wolves ran off.

58. Inside the house the three noticed that Danielle wasn’t in the downstairs area, she had seemingly already gone to bed. They sat down together on the bright couch and stayed silent for a few moments.

59. “Ok” Joel finally broke the silence. “Who was that crazy lady? How could you understand the wolves? And what the hell just happened tonight?” Joel finished.

60. Pocahontas and Powhatan looked at each other, as if communicating telepathically they nodded.

61. “Joel” Pocahontas approached the subject. “There are a lot of things about our family that we have learnt about tonight and when we were children.” Pocahontas took a deep breath to begin the reveal of the family history, Joel was now a part of it. He had seen the scene and it wasn’t exactly something one could forget. “When we were young Powhatan and I learnt that we are part of a race known as Lenmanian Indians. Our heritage started long ago on an island which was how it got it’s name. Lenmana island”

62. “We were raised in their ways: we concentrated on art and music along with a love for nature and the importance of family.” Pocahontas paused shortly. “When we were teens we found out that because we were of the Azure line of Lenmanians that we could also communicate and understand wolves. Each line could understand one Animal but it was rare for that to be the wolf. But we gained that power from our mother.”

63. “Ok so what happened to the rest of the Lenmanians, cousins? Grandparents?” Joel wondered. Joel noticed the siblings glance at each other again.

64. “That’s where that woman we saw in the park today comes in.” Powhatan took over the story. “Her name is Suni she’s the one who wiped the Lenmanians out trying to kill our mother.” “Soo…she’s bad” “Obviously” Powhatan rolled his eyes.

65. Joel gave the two a blank stare before he stood up suddenly and walked into the kitchen. Pocahontas and Powhatan shrugged.

66. In the kitchen, Joel had gotten himself something to eat as he thought to himself. The fact that he was there in the first place he was already involved in it. Nervous he was especially since, before the wolves, the woman, before this whole night he had been looking to speak with Pocahontas about something. But band practice and school kept getting in the way.

67. From the day he first saw her in the library there was just something about her, something that made him long for her. He couldn’t figure it out, and the one chance he got alone with her, any chance he got alone with her was interrupted. Yes there was that but there was also something else…

68. A few days ago he bumped into someone on the way to the amphitheatre. A sparkling white and blue someone. “You know a girl, Pocahontas Azure, I can sense your feelings for her, I can also sense more. You have to protect her.”

69. Joel looked back to his bowl of Cereal. The words made sense to him at this moment. He really did have feelings for Pocahontas that was not a lie at all, he was just so busy. But protect her? how was he going to do that? He had nothing special about him, he was not of any Native blood he was created for Sim State University.

70. Then there was her, Lenmanian princess if he could call her that, who speaks to wolves and is targeted by this crazy Suni lady.

71. “So how are the sleeping arrangements?” “Well we only have two furnished bedrooms you two will have to sleep down here. the couch or recliner.” Pocahontas said. Pocahontas figured that her brother wouldn’t want to sleep upstairs.

72. Joel cleaned his bowl up and went back to the living room. “Ok” Pow stood up. ”Rock paper scissors, best out of three whoever wins gets the couch.” “Ok” Joel blinked. The boys started to decide between the couch and recliner.

73. Pocahontas started up the stars and got to her room all the rooms here were small. With hardly any wallpaper a bed and dresser. It was the best they could do at the moment.

74. The boys finally decided who got what Powhatan won the couch Joel took the old ratty recliner. They slept there during the night.

75. Powhatan got up early the next morning for class and Joel woke up as well to watch television. Powhatan didn’t want to deal with Danielle at the moment he wanted to avoid her as best as he could.

76. Pocahontas woke up and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth in the mirror she noticed Danielle’s depressed look.

77. Pocahontas turned around to face her roommate. “Morning!” Pocahontas said in her perky tone. “Did you find your brother?” Danielle asked with her arms crossed. “Yeah he was in the park, fishing” “I remember him telling me he wanted to go fishing before he came here so I told him about the park.”

78. Pocahontas blinked at her roommate then shook her head. She wanted to find out what happened between them and since she wasn’t getting anything out of her brother, this was the next best thing. “Danielle I need to ask you something” the redhead started.

79. “Ok so I got a little drunk and hooked up with another guy. And Powhatan saw us! HAPPY? Can I use the bathroom now?” Danielle broke into Pocahontas sentence.

80. Why did everyone seem to do this to her, maybe she needed to speak quicker and not start so nicely, But with nine nice points she couldn’t exactly help it.

81. Pocahontas cleaned up the sink then left the bathroom. She headed downstairs and noticed Joel sitting there watching TV, but where was Powhatan? “Hey Joel so who won the couch?” Pocahontas joked. “Powhatan did, he left early for class mumbling something about not wanting to deal with Danielle”

82. Pocahontas nodded at Joel. As she thought to herself about how much this may effect things with Luyu Angeni. Pow was already in the last end of his freshman year and Poc her Sophomore year. Danielle was ending Junior year.

83. “WHY HELLO GREEK HOUSE!” A young man walked through the door, interrupting Pocahontas thoughts. Joel and Poc looked at this guy they hadn’t seen before although he looked a lot like Danielle except for hair color. “Where’s my sister I was told she’d be found here?” Before the two could say anything their confusion was answered.

84. “Oliver!” Danielle’s voice was heard she had already changed her clothes and was looking at the new guy. “I thought you weren’t supposed to be here for a few more days” she said with slight annoyance.

85. “Look big sis I got bored at home there aren’t enough teenage girls around. And Meadow can only take so much,…” Oliver started. “I don’t care about your Love life or whatever you consider it.”

86. “Sooo should we go?” Joel stood up looking at Pocahontas. “Oliver Hunicke meet my housemate Pocahontas Azure and a friend of ours Joel Kauker. Guys this is my younger brother Oliver.”

87. Oliver was already making his rounds and made a beeline for the only girl in the room who wasn’t his sister. “Why hello there you fine young lady” Oliver flirted. Pocahontas looked at Danielle's brother unsure of how to react to his advances.

88. “OLIVER! SHE’S OFF LIMITS ! So don’t even try it.” Danielle ordered her younger brother. “Oh come on Dani its just one innocent flirt.” Oliver said trying to sound angelic. “With you its NEVER innocent” Danielle said.

89. “Let’s go” Joel said to Pocahontas as they headed out the door. They didn’t want to deal with this Oliver guy who’s aspiration was pretty obvious. He was a romance sim. So they left the two siblings to their argument.

90. Joel and Pocahontas found themselves in the campus coffee house where they ordered coffee and sat down. The coffee house had others strolling in and out for different reasons.

91. “…ok so the wolves are friends of the family.” Joel said while he went over the night before with Pocahontas, trying to understand it more. Pocahontas sighed, it was the second time she went over it with him. Maybe it was the fact that she knew about this beforehand that she understood it quite well, But Joel didn’t exactly grow up the way she did. But being the kind person she was Pocahontas went over it again. “Yes, they were around while we grew up on Lenmana.”

92. Joel eventually understood everything. Pocahontas didn’t have to tell him about her family history but the fact that he was THERE. Made her feel she had to explain herself.

93. “Hey Pocahontas?” “What’s up Joel?” “There’s something that’s been on my mind recently” “Yeah” “Do you want to go on a date?”

94. “But what about your band?” “Oh shoot band practice!” Joel jumped up. Pocahontas smiled he was cute and sweet and maybe a little absentminded. She would have fun if anything. “Sure I’ll go out with you” “Cool I’ll see you later tonight after classes!” Joel said rushing out the door.

95. She thought about it. She could use a boyfriend. She had been busy throwing parties that she never really got the chance to let anyone ask her out. “Pleasure who’s more popularity here you go, the girl rolled more wants for parties and making friends than dates.” *Face palm*

96. The semester went on Joel and Pocahontas dated.

97. …made out

98. And dated some more..

99. Danielle and Powhatan continued to avoid each other.

100. But Pocahontas new Danielle better, she may have acted like she didn’t care by filling her time with homework and term papers.

101. But She noticed that her housematewas taking this really hard.

102. Breakfast one morning was different instead of their usual conversations about parties, school, and what they were going to do after graduation. It was silent.

103. “Pocahontas” Danielle finally broke the silence. “What dorm is Powhatan taken residence in?” “The Landgrabb dorms why?” “I’m going to talk to him, I can’t take this anymore. I need to talk to him.” “Don’t expect him to want to, my brother’s stubborn” “I know him well enough”

104. Danielle got dressed and headed out the door.

105. Pocahontas took a deep breath, how was Danielle going to get through to her brother? She guessed she just had to wait and see. “I really hope this doesn’t mess things up even more”

106. Danielle walked across campus until she hit the Landgrabb dorms. She hoped he wasn’t in class but at the same time she hoped he was.

107. Danielle walked up the steps and into the hallway.

108. Powhatan was enjoying himself on the bubble blower with a few of his dorm mates. He had always wondered why his sister liked this so much. It was a great addicting feeling watching the bubbles fly in the air.

109. But the ecstasy of the bubble blower didn’t last long when he felt someone was watching him from the doorway.

110. He immediately stopped with the bubble blower. He found himself looking at Danielle unsure of what to think or how to feel.

111. “Danielle what are you doing here!” Powhatan ordered the girl it was a mix of anger, embarrassment with bits of excitement.

112. “Powhatan” Danielle walked up to him. “I need to talk to you”

113. AND that’s the end of chapter 2.2! How will Danielle’s conversation with Powhatan go? What happened to Suni after the night in the park? How will the rest of generation 1’s college days go? Tune in for the next chapter of The Azure legacy.
