1. The Shadow Gem Chronicles: A Summery of a Simself’s History Because I can!

2. Shadow Gem Simself, the ninja. She was known by more than one name by many other simselves as well as others across the Multiverse; Shadow, Gem, SG, Goddess and even Christina. Of course the name Christina was what she was called in the human world where she’s just a petite, 23 year old geeky college graduate who still lives with her parents and obsesses over finding a REAL job that’s not part time; Oh yeah and this mysterious game called Sims 2… hmmm … But that’s beside the point….

3. The point is there is a simself called ShadowGem and she has her own back story, who she is? Where she came from? and much more. Lets start from some of SG’s earliest memories, as well as many Adventures she has gone on. Because what else is there to do when you’re an immortal Ninja with superpowers and a spirit tiger-cat?

4. SG’s life started off like any normal sim child, born through a sim mother Aileen, her bright blue eyes and brown hair caught the interest of the villagefolk, especially since she looked nothing like Aonghus the sim who claimed to be her father. She had her mother’s hair and eye color with a quite different skin color than both her pale skinned parents. Her adoptive father never seemed to phased by the fact his daughter looked nothing like him, but he didn’t care for her any less.

5. Of course that was because Aonghus knew why the child looked so different, he knew where she was from and who she really was. The young couple decided to give their newborn daughter a name; Enya Sinead. It wasn’t her real name but it was the only way Aileen and Aonghus could get her to fit in with the rest of the children.

6. What was the child’s big secret you wonder? Well flip the page and find out….

7. Enya Sinead, the name her sim parents gave her was actually called ShadowGem of the Sky. ShadowGem was a Simself Goddess, she helped create worlds of sims and sims stories along with many others in the realm.

8. One other simself she was madly in love with as he was with her. From the first time they saw each other, when he was created a simself it was head over heels love at first sight and for thousands of SimYears the two were together. The Simselves all lived in peace in the simself realm. They discussed what they could do to with the sim world including creating places for the overabundance of sims, so they could live. The sims still had their free will as well even under simself influence. The sim world kept growing.

9. That was until the battle of The Ratings attacked surrounding The Fort of the Exchange. The fort was how the simselves separated themselves from the sims. The Ratings were an army of shadowcreatures that took pieces of the gods and goddesses souls. ShadowGem fought hard and strong but her soul was seriously wounded that’s when she came to Aileen and Aonghus in the form of a tiger-cat the only form she could come as while the rest of her soul was wounded.

10. The only chance she got to regain who she had been was to be born a sim into a sim family in the sim world. ShadowGem had to be careful of who she chose to become her caretakers, her sim parents. There were many untrustworthy couples in this world who wouldn’t accept a child who looked nothing like them and had special powers. She spent much time searching as her soul became weaker.

11. That was when she met a refugee couple who had been unable to conceive the child they so desperately wanted. Aileen and Aonghus were from a land war-driven like what ShadowGem had seen before in the Simself Realm when she was strong. Their pure hearts told ShadowGem that they would be the ones, she would give them that child. They had accepted the terms of ShadowGem as well as the fact that their child would be different, special.

12. ShadowGem used what was left of her wounded soul and attached herself to Aileen’s egg within her body and life sprouted within the woman’s womb after all the couple’s years of waiting they will finally have that child.

13. The nurturing of the woman’s body helped ShadowGem’s soul repair itself enough to support the sim body she was now possessing. Of course the soul would continue to repair itself through time as the body of the child grew and changed.

14. The time came when Aileen’s labor pains started. The baby developed well and ShadowGem’s soul was able to support it. A beautiful baby girl with bright blue eyes, brown hair and tanned skin was born. Aileen and Aonghus called her Enya Sinead to honor the place where they had come from.

15. The village they lived was near a school that trained children special techniques that they would carry through their life to protect themselves as well as each other, and survive anywhere. They believed it would be the best place for their daughter to start once she was old enough. Lucky for them the village was used to refugees from other lands because they offered the most protection and were willing to train children who had the qualities they liked to see in their Ninja warriors.

16. ShadowGem grew up into a fine looking toddler with pointed ears. A very smart and self sufficient toddler, she learned all her toddler skills faster than other children. The girl seemed to take on a certain glow when she was learning her skills.

17. But her powers also started to show themselves as a toddler, one such power was that she could sense spirits and seemed to have her own little parties. There was one spirit that always visited her, it was that of a tiger-cat that she always referred to as Tora, she could see her and feel her as well as communicate with her.

18. Many others could not see the mysterious spirit, being that she was still young the villagers figured it was an imaginary friend which many children had at the toddler stage. Although the way ShadowGem acted and spoke to the spirit seemed more than just imaginary. They figured she’ll grow out of it by the time she was old enough to start school, most children usually did.

19. She grew into a fine looking child as the years passed, she was soon able to start school. Dressed in the simple first year uniform she blended in with the other children.

20. She learned what they learned , at a much faster speed than most of her classmates.

21. She trained when they trained, and much more.

22. As time went on the monks noticed that the girl had yet to grow out of talking to Tora. She excelled at every other learning area except for that mysterious creature she was communicating with.

23. They even brought her to the village elder who had put the child through many tests to see if there was any mental problems. He found nothing wrong.

24. As a child ShadowGem was a loner, none of the other trainees wanted to be near her she was teased behind the Sensei’s back all the time. They felt she was different, she knew she was different. SG had known all along, the woman she had adopted as her mother wasn’t her real mother even though she gave birth to her, and her father wasn’t even her real father. Since her mother had never been seen with any other man but her father and never planned to at any time during the relationship.

25. ShadowGem always kept her pointed ears hidden from the other children, for she was afraid of being even more ostracized than she already was dealing with. She spent a lot of time with Tora during her younger years , she was her only real friend other than her loving parents.

26. The girl grew into a fine athletic teenager who excelled at every piece of training, so much that they decided to start her on special missions with the older Ninjas. The hardworking teen was always up for a challenge and this was the best. At 14, she was already on missions with 17 and 18 year olds and older.

27. She also continued her training at the school when not on missions.

28. Every moment, everything she did her parents were very proud of their daughter. There were always hugs waiting for her and conversations to be had. Tora was always with her as well, until one day…

29. Another mission, more treasures to be found and people to save and protect. It started like any other mission she was introduced to the group a plan was made and in action and they were raring to go.

30. That’s when The Ratings appeared in the sim world, in this village, the shadowy creatures had crossed the path of the Ninjas. The team fought and were wounded terribly their only hope was her, but the Ratings laughed at this little girl trying to take on this army.

31. “Who are you little girl? Shouldn’t you be at school training? Aren’t you a little young for this big kid stuff” The Ratings teased. “They call me Enya-Sinead in this body, but you may know me by another name.” SG replied. The teenager could feel everything returning to her at once as her spirit became stronger, fuller, Tora’s power grew as well being that she was a part of ShadowGem’s soul.

32. The Ratings watched in awe as they were reminded of a similar scene that happened many years ago up in the sky with the simself gods and goddesses the familiar brightness overcame the army as ShadowGem’s form had shown itself. The same pointed ears, the same body, everything down to the same facial markings The Ratings knew this had to be the ShadowGem!

33. “TORA! GO!” The simself ordered telepathically to her tiger-cat that had become much bigger as her power grew. Tora attacked as she ripped the shadowed souls from the Ratings, breaking the enemy apart piece by piece.

34. But then the most horrible happened, Tora was stabbed by a special sword that drained all her power as well as ShadowGem’s. She was left to die a teenage sim death. Shadow became weak as her beloved spirit animal disappeared into the earth, she laid there and felt her eyes droop and close.

35. But the sword consumed the Shadowcreature using the power against him. As it drained his own soul quickly a soul that could never be reincarnated into anything or anyone ever again it drained into nothing, with no trace the sword destroyed itself.

36. ShadowGem knew the sword well as her own that was stolen from her by the Shadowcreature back when the battle of the Exchange happened. The sword was created for her from the celestial metal that bonded to its owner and if stolen it was quite powerful if placed in the wrong hands. But if the sword was used to destroy the owner it had bonded to it would rebound onto the one who had stolen it and consume them fully before bursting into flames destroying itself as a shame for an attempt on its owner’s life.

37. Her soul wounded her beloved spirit creature lost. ShadowGem returned to the normal state of her body as Enya-Sinead. She was discovered and brought to the healers of the village she grew up in and was praised as a hero. But she had a strong feeling of wondering she felt that she had to get out of that village, but she didn’t want to leave her beloved adoptive parents. What was a teen to do?

38. She had to leave, to protect her parents, her village, everyone. She didn’t want any fanfare so she snuck out that night writing a long “I’m sorry” to her parents. It shouldn’t have surprised them too much they knew this was coming. One of the things she told before attaching herself to her mother’s egg was the fact that one day she will remember exactly who she was and her full power would return to her, she would have to leave them.

39. Tears filled her eyes as she set down the letter and glanced at her parents sleeping soundly in the next room. She made one huge mistake in becoming this little girl, Enya-Sinead, was the fact that she got too attached to the people she would be leaving as a teenager. So leaving hurt her even more. “I love you mom and dad” She blew a kiss to them sadly as she snuck out into the night.

40. She had travelled to many places keeping her powers under control as she finally reached her adult form; a form she would be in for many years to come since her kind never ages past that life-stage.

41. She continued to train wherever she went to better her powers and herself. She met many people and heard all of their stories some good some bad but she always moved on.

42. She decided to vacation in Takemizu Village. A village she had heard all about in her studies and everyone wanted to go there because it was said to be the place where the Ninja arts began. Many had visited but none had been to the legendary Pagoda where the old man lived. ShadowGem was determined to meet this man.

43. She registered herself as Enya-Sinead, the name given to her by her sim parents. And her search began.

44. Before long the woman stumbled upon a mysterious Pagoda, she could just feel it that this was the one she had been looking for all this time. She stepped through the field and before long noticed the old man. ShadowGem did the polite thing and decided to poor him some tea. This was what she learned back in the village she had been living through her childhood, always respect one’s elders by offering them tea.

45. “You have travelled a long way child.” The old man started. “Longer than most. I see in your heart that you have lived very long and yet look much younger than me. “ ShadowGem looked up at the old man and caught his wise eyes. “Ah!” The man said. “Your eyes tell me another story. You look and act part of this world but yet you are not. I see you have just recently discovered who you truly are and are searching. Not just for answers but for others like yourself.” SG nodded politely. “Come with me child”

46. She followed him to the pond near the pagoda where he started fishing.* Time passed between the two as the old man shot glances at ShadowGem before finally turning to the simself. “I sense a power coming from you. You were trained a Ninja throughout your school years weren't you? You excelled, since it was just a review for you. even as a child?” SG nodded, she had yet to say anything to this man but he was almost dead on. *yes he went fishing instead of doing Tai chi

47. “If I may?”SG finally spoke up during a break in the conversation. “You may” The old man replied. “How are you getting all this from just looking at me? You knew I was searching, you sensed my power and most of all that I’m not of this world.” “From the moment I noticed you step onto this land it came to me faster than any other that has in the past. The winds told me that you were once a goddess-like creature known as a simself. One of many if I may say so myself. You simselves, many as there may be, have control over our world from your world.”

48. “But then many of you chose to create your selves here. You are created like any other sim. But in some cases because of a loss in power in the simself realm, you are born into the sim world as a sim. This process helps stabilize your power here with a few limits. In you’re future you’re powers will be unstable enough that if an actual sim, not a simself, gains too much power that it will affect yours and you will have no control at all. The only time your power will stabilize is if your spirit animal, an extension of your power, appears to you. “

49. “You will be able to communicate with this animal physically, mentally and spiritually. You can also use your spirit animal within the spirit world to communicate with other spirits, only through the animal can you enter that world. Others may be able to communicate with it physically in this world, but it’s rare for one to be able to since the power is reserved for only simselves. Any normal sim will not be able to, unless their spirit energy is high enough, that percentage is less than 1% of normal sims.” “I see.” Was all she could say.

50. “So where do I go from here?” ShadowGem asked. “Why don’t I tell you a legend.” “Alright?”

51. “Sit my child and listen to what I have to say.” The old man said to her. SG sat down on the crisp green grass beside the pond. The simself looked up at the old man wondering what he was going to tell her. ShadowGem wondered how a story was going to help her find the others or even a place that felt like home.

52. The old man started: I will tell you the legend of a village on an island. The natives lived peacefully with one another they followed the stories and loves of nature, arts and music. Both women and men had their reasons for being there. Women were very well respected within the culture because they birthed children and were decision makers. Men were the protectors and hunters. Everyone in the village cared for the children well for they would be the future of the heritage. Elders were also respected for their knowledge and wise words that passed down for generations.

53. There was a princess who had three fine children. She rarely talked, she did tell a tale of her eldest whose destiny was to birth a firstborn daughter who will hold all of the magic and culture of the natives when times were dark. When the middle daughter heard of this she became jealous and did all she could to ruin her elder sister’s life, without much success.

54. As time went on the middle daughter decided that the only way left to prevent her niece from fulfilling what she was meant to do was to destroy and kill off any native, especially her sister’s child. The middle daughter took her beloved and set fire to the village in hope that if she destroyed the natives and the child that the power would all come to her being the last native to be alive.

55. The princess felt something was off with her middle daughter so she went to warn her eldest to take the young child away from the devastation that was to occur. The eldest daughter took the young child into nature and asked the spirits to protect her. The eldest daughter had to prevent her sister from killing her firstborn, the spirits were the only way to do this. The spirits agreed to protect the child and the girl lived in nature.

56. As time went on the wasteland started to develop new vegetation and Sims were drawn back to the Island. The built their own homes and started businesses like the Island had never been a wasteland. It was the magic of the spirits that caused such resilience. The development was much quicker than any other place with the same destiny because the spirits wanted to preserve their beloved land, since they couldn’t save the natives.

57. The child grows my dear, she has the power that she knows not and she shall never know until much later in her life. The last good native of the island was found in nature and adopted into a good family. The sun shines down on her and her descendants, but for now let her enjoy her teen-hood. The old man finished the story; Shadow Gem fell silent as she thought it over.

58. The old man walked toward her as she stood up to face him. “You are lost in thought my child?” The old man said as he looked at the Sim in front of him. “The tale did indeed make me think. I believe you were trying to lead me in the right direction of where I should be headed. But if that’s the case how will I know which Island is the one I should be on?” “You will feel it in your heart and your soul. You will just know.” With that, SG bowed before heading back to where she would be staying.

59. Back at the hotel, she settled in for the night as the old man’s words played through her head. The story had done so as well but she had felt that she had heard that story elsewhere. Suddenly she heard something coming from the wardrobe within her hotel room.

60. She found a familiar outfit that she had worn many years ago. The color wasn’t like what she had warn back in her school days it was red instead of the usual black or white. Her memories started to flood back to her. This was her outfit; one of the many she had worn in the simself realm. She peered into the wardrobe noticing a small piece of parchment with writing on it.

61. “In the simself realm there were times when you wore this item of clothing. Although not always it was a treasured piece of yours, the red ninja outfit. You deserve this and it was really hard to come by, This is your original. Wear whenever you feel like it. ~The Old Man of the Pagoda

62. ShadowGem smiled to herself then proceeded to enjoy the rest of her visit. Her mission was to find this Island where she could relax. Where she could recoup and find the others like herself. Especially the one she loved on the simself plane. She was looking for him the most, as well as the ones closest to her. She had to find them. But there was something else hanging over her head she needed closure with her birth family. It was her own fault she still felt guilty for leaving them all these years. She had to do something for them to thank them.

63. In her new state ShadowGem found her way back to the village she grew up in as the house had always stood. Her parents were now much older and welcomed their daughter with open arms. “I am sorry that I left you so suddenly.” SG apologized. “It’s alright my dear Enya, we knew the day would come when you had to leave us.” Aileen hugged her now adult daughter. “I have come with a gift for you but I need you to drink it all while you are platinum, before that effect wears off.”

64. *Shadow Gem brought them into her bedroom, the girl had cleared out her dresser and bed as she stashed them into her inventory. Out came what she was to give to her beloved parents, elixir. “I discovered this on my travels you may each have three servings.” SG said to her adoptive parents. “What is this going to do, Enya?” Aonghus asked.

65. “I’m giving you another chance. You spent so many years mourning then when I came along I was your main concentration. But you must drink it now while in platinum state.” “What about you?” Aonghus asked. “I will be fine, part of my destiny was the fact that I cannot age past this stage. Drink, please.” SG smiled.

66. Aileen and Aonghus each took half of the elixir as their bodies return to their young and fertile states. They felt much better, although it felt strange to be the same age as their daughter at the moment. ShadowGem smiled as her parents love was as it was when they first met and that love and happiness would continue for many years. “You have at least ten of your own children coming. The youngest one, name her after me. Enjoy them!” Those were the last words SG spoke to them before saying good bye.

67. Aileen and Aonghus looked at each other then at Aileen’s belly. “Ten!”Aonghus said excitedly. After so many years of infertility the couple was finally able to have their own children and not just one, many children. The daughter they cared for all these years had finally given them what they wanted. They were going to need a bigger place.

68. From the top left : Their first child was born shortly after the visit they named her Deirdre, Their second child was also a daughter they named Maeve, Their third child was a son they named him Rohan, the forth one was also a son named Ivor.

69. Seamus and Aeronwy were their fifth and sixth children and only set of twins, Their seventh child was a daughter named Lowri, Their eighth child was also a daughter named Eirian, their ninth child was a son they named Aedan.

70. And their tenth child and youngest was a brown haired, blue eyed daughter named Enya-Sinead. The toddler may not have had the tanned skin of her namesake but she had a very similar personality.

71. Aonghus, Aileen and their ten children lived happily ever after.

72. That was Aileen and Aonghus’ story but ShadowGem’s was still going on. It didn’t take her long to track down the island the old man had told her of, it was called Lenmana Island. The child in his story, the last good Lenmanian Native, was called Aiyana Azure and she was now about to start University. SG knew of the culture of this land even more than what the old man had told her, it came naturally to her about what was important to the residents of the Island.

73. ShadowGem woke up on the beach where she had been relaxing since getting off the ship, and looked around. The place was a lot more lively than she had seen early that morning when the ship docked. A look up at the sun suggested it was around 10 am ShadowGem got off the hammock and went to see what the shops had to offer.

74. While at the café she noticed a familiar man on the other side of the room. He was looking at the menu sitting at another table. SG went up to him unsure of how she should approach. She let her body pull her in the direction. “Hey mind if I sit here?” SG asked. The man looked up from the menu hearing the voice that was too familiar to him. “Holy shit!” he jumped up. The two of them pulled each other into a hug that lasted for what seemed like 5 minutes.

75. “Gem! Its been so long, how are you?” the man, who SG knew as Ryan. “Ryan! I’ve missed you so much.” SG said looking at her lover. “I’ve missed you too! I was drawn to this Island. I just knew I would find you here. I’m so glad I was right.” “We need to make up for lost time.” SG smiled. “Then I guess it’s time for me to do this. I’ve held this since I came here, I can’t wait anymore.” Ryan said.

76. The man dropped down on one knee in front of SG. “For many years I have searched for you, my love, my only, my true. The one I fell for way back…” Ryan started and looked around. “…as teenagers…” Yes it was a little white lie but the two have been in love for decades in sim time. He figured that would be best to simify the relationship by saying teenagers. “Your eyes as blue as the sky is what drew me in that first date. Your hair as smooth as the grass we sat on. It was love at first sight and I just knew you were the one. And now I ask you, Will you marry me?” Ryan said holding the ring out.

77. “It’s about time!” ShadowGem replied with a playful smirk. “Oh that’s a yes!” She put the ring on her finger and leaped into Ryan’s arms while the others in the café cheered and clapped.

78. The two were married in a private ceremony by a pond as the leaves from the willow tree fell across their faces. SG became a princess that beautiful day, gown down to her toes as she kissed the love of her life for the first time as a married couple.

79. After the honeymoon they found the mansion that would be their new home on the Island. It was near the mountains. “Well here’s home” Ryan said. “We just need to find the others. They should be drawn here.” SG replied. “We will sweetheart we will.”

80. It wasn’t long before Simselves were drawn to the mysterious mansion by the mountains. “Are you sure this is the place?” “Yes I can feel it, it just has to be” “What are we waiting for?” The three women found their way to the front door and rang the bell.

81. They were greeted enthusiastically by ShadowGem and Ryan who welcomed the new simselves into the house. As time went on others would follow the same path the same feeling, of just having to be there.

82. ShadowGem became the watcher of the Azure Family as they grew and developed. Aiyana Azure was married to Jim Player from University. They raised two children Pocahontas and Powhatan. Pocahontas married Joel Kauker and Powhatan Married Danielle Hunicke. Pocahontas and Joel had three children: Siksika, Crowfoot and Jacy-Nova. Powhatan and Danielle had six children: Koko, Rozene, Sinopa, Adoette, Ohanko and Dyami. All of which fought the middle sister from the old man’s story and destroyed her.

83. Throughout the years Ryan and SG lived with the other simselves and one day they decided to have a baby of their own… Ok so clicky person pressed “try for baby” instead of “woohoo” because she was curious at how the genetics would mesh…

84. Right away there was mysterious music in the air and SG was pregnant with her and Ryan’s first child.

85. Not to long later a baby girl was born in the simself house. She had blue eyes and brown hair like SG but she had daddy’s paler skintone. SG decided to name the little girl Ayleen after her adoptive mother but spelled a different way.

86. Ryan proved to be quite the daddy with Ayleen who was already showing signs of looking more like him in facial structure. The rest of the baby girl’s looks were from her mother. Ryan didn’t mind at all he loved both of his girls dearly.

87. The baby years were short lived and before they knew it Ayleen was a mischievous toddler taking after her ninja mother in personality (and astrologically). Ayleen was a Gemini like SG with a hyperactive and sweet personality of 3 neat, 9 outgoing, 10 active, 3 playful (but don’t let that low number fool you she loves to play with others) and 10 nice. Yes Ryan never jiggle a toddler after she has just eaten.

88. Ayleen is still a toddler at the moment because clicky person has aging off at the simself house. Maybe one day she will decide to let her become a child but for now she’s just too darned cute! If you don’t want any toddler picspam skip the next 5 slides. I just wanted to put it since she’s not really n the main story .Yes some pics have her with and without the freckles because I switched default skintones in my game. She currently has freckles in game, either way she’s adorable!

94. Whether you just skipped the last five slides, squeed at how adorable my simself’s daughter is or neither (darn you :P ) lets finish off the story shall we. Actually I think that basically sums up the SG chronicles for now, unless I decide to write more about it. ShadowGem’s hair has changed with what I feel like doing at the time and I gave her some Night Elf (World of Warcraft) facial markings because I wanted to see how they looked. -------

95. Oh one more thing, although there’s still a few more things beforehand I would like to happen, my boy Crowfoot here will be getting his own bachelor challenge shortly after his graduation from Uni (and after one more thing I want to happen to him). So I figured I’d start this early and get who I need before I get to it. He still doesn’t know so SHH!

96. Crowfoot Azure’s Bachelor Challenge Casting Call! I already have two contestants who will not be revealed until the challenge starts but that means I still need five more. So if there are any female sims or simselves out there who would love to have a chance at my resident space geek here’s you’re chance! Crowfoot isn’t too picky, like many males, he wants her to look good in underwear and a bit of makeup would be appreciated, as long as she doesn’t wear a hat.
