1. Getting local image files to work in Google Earth

ensure that LOCAL files are enabled – you will receive a dire warning as if this is
an awful thing to do…
Create your placemark.
Double click the ADD IMAGE button and it will leave a code in the box ready for
an image location.
Browse to the image and get the PROPERTIES of the image/ folder path to its
location – for example
Note that you must have file:/// and then add the location e.g. C:/My
Documents/ etc. on a Windows PC
