2. My target audience is teenagers from ages 15-24, to attract my audience
I had action during the opening so that they wouldn’t lose interest, also
we can see from the very beginning that the protagonist has a problem.
The storyline follows the main character and she’s being bullied and it
makes the viewers wonder why, also the opening creates mystery
around the characters identity because sometimes it presents her as
white and other times as black.
3. The characters in the film are mostly teenagers which will appeal to my
audience because they can relate to situations present in the film. From the
beginning we can establish that the genre is going to be teen and the sub
genre is going to be drama because the film is about teenagers and we can
see one of the many obstacles she is going to face throughout the film.
4. The soundtrack is also something that would appeal to teenagers because
even though its slow it has pace at the same time because we intertwined
more than one instrument together. In my film opening I use a voice over
of the protagonist speaking, this would attract my audience because they get
a glimpse of how she’s feeling from the very beginning of the film and it
creates sympathy throughout, also it makes it seem more personal as if the
protagonist was sharing a secret with the viewer.
5. The title of the film is very appealing because its called ID and everyone can
relate to that because it’s something that identifies who you are as a person
and the title creates mystery around her identity so the viewer will want to
watch the film and find out who she really is.
