AMBULANCE SERVICE VICTORIA
• This model identifies the levels within Ambulance Service Victoria at which I
operated, the areas of involvement to which I had an impact, the functions at
which I carried out or played a key role in, as well as, the tasks I performed of
consultation and evaluation across all areas.

A large organisation consisting of five contract service divisions - Industrial painting,
plumbing, engineering and grounds maintenance and signage manufacturing.
• Based at head office in Victoria and regularly travelled to all branches.
Responsible for the management of all training, OHS&E, workers compensation
claims and other personnel matters throughout Australia and New Zealand.
• Responsible for developing safe systems of work for major projects.
• Played a part in attaining ISO 9002 accreditation for the organisation.
• Developed & implemented a Safety System based on SafetyMap & ISO 9002.
• Played a pivotal role in developing the curriculum for the TAFE accredited course
“Certificate III in Protective Coatings for Corrosion Control”.
• Consulted to Regional and State Managers, sales departments and to large
company clients regarding Human Resource matters.
MEDICAL DEVELOPMENTS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD.
A multiple cost centre design and manufacturing business privately owned with
some 100 unique products.

attained ISO 9002 accreditation for the company.
• Developed a corporate business plan encompassing the Asia Pacific marketing
strategy. Attained government assistance, grants and subsidies for export
development projects. Developed and circulated the Company Profile.

AUSSIE ROLLER SHUTTERS
A new company, in partnership with one other associate. Turnover: $895,000 in first

• Developed and implemented all the marketing, operational, administration and
training systems
• Recruited and trained all administration and sales staff and coordinated and
controlled tradespeople
• Liased with all customers
• Carried out all accounting, banking and administrative tasks
COMPASS PATIENT TRANSPORT SERVICES
A private ambulance service consisting of 8 vehicles providing resources to
Metropolitan and Regional Ambulance Services and Victorian Hospitals for those
cases where existing resources were lacking. Each crew consisted of an
Ambulance Transport Attendant (ATA) fully responsible for patient care, and a
Patient Transport Officer for driving and assisting the ATA. The Company ceased
operations in June 2003.
• Functioned as an ATA and consulted regarding training and standards.
