numerous years in primary agricultural

• Processing 80-100 million pounds of
sunflowers each year.

golden flax

12. Marketing Factors
• Farmers should have their own storage
(Drying)facilities.
• Corn hybrids should be selected that are 5
days shorter then what is grown in their area,
this will increase the bushel weight.
• Farmers must know quality of his grains or
hay, this will reflect pricing.
• Farmers must send samples that reflect, the
grain lot. Food grade verses Feed

• Chose Buyers that have Grain Dealers
Licences.
• Always have signed contracts
• Check on Buyers payment terms.
• Who is paying for & organizing the freight.
• Try to establish a good working relationship
with your buyer. Contact them often to give
reports on crops,& grain in storage.
