4. downtown stomping grounds
Fostering a united legacy and honoring the history of the building refines the atmosphere,
while contemporary interpretation makes the space relatable and current. Users from all
walks of life will create a shared experience of local culture with the merging of the
industrial revolution into the technological revolution.
Project Description
The historic G.F. Andrae Building, located in downtown Stevens
Point, is undergoing a renovation. The storefront will be
divided into its original three bays, and the second floor will be
transformed into loft and luxury penthouse apartments - filling
a need for affordable housing for young professionals. This
concept aligns with the current revitalization of the downtown
area by preserving the history of the building and designating it
as a community building space.
Total project size: 22,500 sq. ft.
Project Time Frame: 15 weeks
Spaces designated: Optique, Grocery, Brewing
Cooperative, Stomping Grounds Commons, Lofts, Penthouses,
Community areas.

offers classes, rent-able brewing space,
and a commercial kitchen in its lower level.

Public commons area shared between all lower level
businesses. Perfect spot for a deli lunch from the grocer, or to
meet friends for a tasty craft beer from the brewery.
8. KRAFT INNOVATION CENTER
Concept Statement:
The flavor of Kraft Heinz will be reflected in a space that promotes creativity
and cooperation. modern with high, open ceilings and bright walls, yet organic
and casual with the presence of natural materials, curved walls, and soft textures;
Geometric patterns found in ceiling elements, furnishings, and materials will
reinforce branding to create a unique identity for the working environment.
A variety of textures and types of seating invite users to explore beyond the
workstation and interact with the space and its other users.
Project Description
The Kraft Heinz Innovation center will be
located in Northfield, Illinois and will house
employees in a non-hierarchal, flexible
workspace. The goal of the innovation space is
to encourage collaboration while being brand
inspired.
