Outlook for December
Data results for the Redondo Beach residential real estate market for November relative to October
indicate trending behavior has declined. With exception to median days to sell, which produced a net zero
change, all other major indicators reveal activity is slowing. However, the holiday season is known to
adversely impact consumer interest in real estate so these figures are not surprising nor do they suggest
any reason to be concerned.
Looking forward, it is expected that December’s residential real estate stats will likely mirror November’s
with few, if any, exceptions. That stated, buyers remember the cost to borrower money remains at
historically low levels. And sellers, do not forget as the quantity of listings drop so does the impact of
competition.

  • 13. Outlook for December Data results for the Redondo Beach residential real estate market for November relative to October indicate trending behavior has declined. With exception to median days to sell, which produced a net zero change, all other major indicators reveal activity is slowing. However, the holiday season is known to adversely impact consumer interest in real estate so these figures are not surprising nor do they suggest any reason to be concerned. Looking forward, it is expected that December’s residential real estate stats will likely mirror November’s with few, if any, exceptions. That stated, buyers remember the cost to borrower money remains at historically low levels. And sellers, do not forget as the quantity of listings drop so does the impact of competition.
