1. Floods hit Mozambique (again!) Jan 2008

2. Roads to neighbouring countries are cut off

3. So far 6 people have died (4 drowned and 2 eaten by crocodiles)

4. Tens of thousands have been made homeless and another 14,000 people being moved on Saturday (12 th Jan)

5. People have been climbing trees and onto rooftops to escape the floodwaters.
