1. An Indian Story

2. • Long Feather
crept through
the woods
looking for deer
and buffalo to
shoot.

3. • Suddenly, Long feather heard a strange sound in
the distance.

4. • “What was that, he thought.”

5. • Long Feather tried to muffle his foot steps as
he walked closer to the mysterious sound. “I
have to keep queit,” he thought.

6. • As Long Feather peaked around the corner, he
saw a huge buffalo grazing on some grass.

7. • He pulled out his
bow and arrow
and shot at the
huge animal. The
arrow flew
through the air
and pierced the
animals hide.

8. • On his journey home Long Feather thought of
all the ways he could use his buffalo. he
would use the meet to feed his family. He
would also use the hide to make moccasins
and other clothing.

9. • When Long
Feather finally
returned home,
he was greeted by
his wife and
children. They
were so happy to
see there father.

10. • Long Feathers wife prepared a delicius stew by
the fire. Together, the family said a prayer of
thanks before they ate their meal.
