1. Evaluation Q2 – How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary text? Media Studies – Hana Ellis
2. How my products relate in time I would want my trailer to be released at the same time as the posters to help maximise viewings and interest into the film, people would be able to see it both virally through the internet and around the community, I would want this to come out around a month before the film, no earlier as this could loose interest and no later as this could also not gain enough interest in time for release My magazine would come out around a week before and sell throughout the time the film is out, this helps to continue promotion and help word of mouth about the film. It also allows the people who enjoyed the film to then learn more about the film and tell their friends.
3. How they relate to each other I feel they all relate really well, I have continuously used the same colour schemes and similar fonts. The use of black and white was related throughout my poster and trailer, to help relate to my target audience and relate to my genre. I needed to ensure they all related to eachother so it was important to use the same location and characters throughout filming and creation.
4. How it reaches genre and audience I feel that it aims towards my target audience of 18+ as its sophisticated, and eye catching in a more mature way, I did this by the use of my fonts, colour scheme and use of imaging. The song in my trailer is one of the selling points it’s a moving and touching song which helps create the right atmosphere to promote the genre of my film, this use of black and white throughout my products helps to pull them all together.
