O This has been very useful as it has acted
like an online diary. It has allowed me
present all my ideas.
O It allowed me to keep all my work
organised by congregating all my
coursework on to one blog.
O It also allowed me to use different
technology formats in my work, therefore
making my work more varied.
3. Microsoft PowerPoint
O This technology has allowed me to
present my work in a different format.
O It allowed me to not make my work to
wordy, it was straight to the point.
O I could make my work more visual by the
use of colours, fonts and by being able to
add images too.
4. Slideshare
O We used this programme in order to
upload our PowerPoint presentations to
our blogs.
O It allowed us to upload our pitch, research
and any other ideas.
O It presented our work clearly and make
our work more visually appealing.
5. Prezi
O I used this technology to create my
audience profile.
O As this piece of work required a lot of
information, Prezi allowed me to present
this visually and clearly.
O It also enabled me to embed videos and
pictures to help me describe my target
audience in more detail.
6. Facebook
O I used Facebook in order to gather
audience feedback on our music video
storyboard.
O It allowed us to gain “likes” which
showed that people thought our
storyboard was good.
O This technology is a good way of gaining
feedback as it allows you target your
audience directly.
7. YouTube
O Our group used YouTube to contact our
chosen artist, to ask her permission to use
her song for our music video.
O I also used YouTube when researching
other music videos that were a similar
genre to that of our artist.
8. Final Cut Express
O We used this programme to edit our
music video.
O This allowed us to edit the video very
precisely, however because of this, it did
take us a long time to edit the video,
which made us behind schedule.
O Although it took us a long time to edit, it
was worth it as the music video does look
professional.
9. Video Camera
O In order to make a good quality music
video, it was imperative that we had the
use of a good video camera.
O By having a good video camera this
allowed us to use different effects and
recorded images to achieve an overall
good music video.
O Whilst filming, we found that the use of
the camera allowed us to be experimental
to get good shots.
10. Adobe Photoshop
O I used Photoshop to create my print
products.
O It allowed me to create professional and
aesthetically pleasing designs.
O This programme was beneficial to me as
the products I created looked realistic and
it allowed to create a house style on both
my print products.
11. Microsoft Outlook Calendar
O I used the calendar on my college email in
order to manage my time.
O I used it to remind of things that needed
to be done that month and any important
deadlines.
O However due to their being a problem
with the who would be the performer,
this put us behind schedule and therefore
I didn’t stick to my time management. But
it was useful as a rough guide.
