• Launch: September 30th, 2011 at 7pm in Maya’s Room (Silliman
Gallery)
• Exhibits: Each photograph portrays a different perspective of
happiness as seen through the eyes of a Yale community member.
• Traveling Exhibition Concept: After this initial display at Maya’s
Room, the exhibition will travel to numerous other residential colleges
over the course of the current academic year.
• Outdoor Exhibition: The ultimate destination for the “Perspectives of
Happiness exhibition is Cross Campus, the heart of Yale University.
• Fundraiser: All proceeds will be donated to SmileTrain, a charity
organization that provides cleft lip and palate surgery to poor children
in devel- oping countries.

• Exhibits: Each photograph portrays a different
perspective of happiness from around the world.
• Traveling Exhibition Concept: We will include some of
the online submissions into the exhibition at Yale as we
change RCs.
• Fundraiser: A online fundraising page for SmileTrain
will be set up by Friday and a link will be provided at our
online gallery space.

• Join the “Perspectives of Happiness” Project Team:
Shape and develop the “Perspectives of Happiness”
project actively. Establish partnerships, market the
event, assist in fundraising efforts, help design the
exhibition layout at other RCs and more.
