The Watts for Wildcats project aims to address energy inefficiency in Springdale schools. The group will thermally record conditions in 3 elementary schools and present innovative energy conservation ideas to the school board. They will use technologies like Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, a Flir i7 thermal imaging camera, and GIS/GPS mapping to analyze school buildings and document their findings. So far they have investigated home and business efficiency strategies and interviewed a school administrator. Their presentation will explain energy efficiency benefits like cost savings, comfort, and environmental protection.
