Background
2

The triage is used injured people in the disaster
                           scene

It is difficult to share injured peoples’ information

The network sharing information can be constructed
            by an ad-hoc network technology
What is triage?
3

To rescue a lot of lives in the disaster scene
where talent and materials are insufficient,
     priority is applied to treatment.
( Information is shared with the tag of paper)

                                        Because paper is used, it
                                           is difficult to share
                                               information.
What is an ad-hoc network?
4

    Network is constructed of nodes
Does not need the base station

We can add and remove node.
As the result, node can move anywhere.
Problem
5

The doctor puts up tag to the injured
                         people

            The rescue team transports the
                    injured people

It is necessary to cooperate with the doctor
                  between rescue teams
Problem
6

It is necessary to cooperate with the doctor
                  between rescue teams

Because the triage tag by using a paper, it is
               difficult to take cooperation.
            Information does not be shared.

We solve a problem by sending an information
                     on the network
By using an ad-hoc network
7

The communication between nodes can be done
even if there is no AP.

Each node equipped with wireless LAN can be
     used.

     A special node is unnecessary.
Proposal

Injured peoples’ triage information is shared, injured
         peoples' transportation efficiency is improved.
1 The doctor does the triage.

1 3 The rescue team receives information

                                  2
The patient is attested 3 4 The rescue team replies to the doctor,
     by the tag number.
                                                                "Transport injured people"

      Injured peoples’ position
is confirmed by using GPS The doctor confirms that transportation is
                                                                 done by the reply.

Advantage
11

Time to look for the injured people decreases

               Transportation time becomes short

It is easy to understand the situation of the disaster
     scene

We can make the plan quickly
Conclusion
12

Our proposal shares information by using an ad-
hoc network system for the triage.

                   More lives can be saved.
For the future work
13

The program cannot be mounted yet.

I want to build the program into the NetWalker,
and an iPhone for the next step.
