Led system upgrade efforts and merger related initiatives for the fixed asset accounting system, cash
management and tax applications at Exelon. Financial Systems administrator for the fixed asset accounting
system. (PowerPlan)
• Led the project to move the legacy bank accounts for Constellation Energy over to the Exelon
application and AP check printing operations from Chicago to Baltimore. This accelerated effort
resulted in a successful transition and reduced cost by eliminating redundant processes.
• Oversaw merger integration initiatives, upgrades and major enhancements to the fixed asset
accounting system at Exelon. Despite being challenged by tight deadlines all projects resulted in
delivering the anticipated value with minimal issues. Although the number of companies nearly
doubled closing the books for fixed assets is now taking less time.
• Established standards for application maintenance which greatly facilitated the transition of
support of applications from Accenture to InfoSys.

Involved in all aspects of IT Business Planning for large electric utility. Made major contributions to IT
Business Planning by spearheading the improvements to both process and tools.
• Improved IT’s ability to plan future projects by successfully designing, developing and
implementing the IT project planning repository which resulted in improved alignment of
business needs to the use of IT resources.
• Initiated changes to the IT Portfolio evaluation and tracking process which provided greater
insight into the prioritization of $250 million of annual IT project investment.
• Improved the IT senior leadership team’s knowledge of investment allocation concepts by

effort. This was an aggressive schedule that the vendor consultants expressed doubt about
achieving.

Identified key issues and worked with IT and business units to fix problems and successfully
resolve discrepancies.
• Led the implementation of the Industrial Safety / Medical records system. This system was one
of the first enterprise-wide systems after the merger of two major utilities. Received recognition
from the executive sponsor for the successful effort.
Senior Analyst (1997–2000)
Team lead for the projects and major enhancement efforts involving the CIMS customer system, the
PowerPlan and PowerTax fixed asset accounting system and the PeopleSoft financials application.
• Overall team lead for IT, business unit and the vendor activities for the implementation of
PowerPlan and PowerTax applications. This was the quickest and most successful (fewest
problems) implementation of PowerPlan/PowerTax according to the vendor and the team
received a special achievement award for its efforts.
• Led the team which developed the conversion of legacy accounting data into the PeopleSoft
financials application. The conversion of Projects, which was developed, tested and deployed in
an accelerated 2-month time frame, was very successful and the team received a special
achievement award for its efforts.
