This document discusses the role of higher education in supporting education for all (EFA) goals. It outlines areas where higher education can contribute more through research and training, including teacher development, curriculum design, and education policy planning. However, there is currently a lack of resources and recognition for EFA research. Stronger partnerships and communication are needed between higher education researchers and EFA program managers to better integrate research findings into policy and practice.
