ICF Colorado Newsletter
July 2014
Message from Stephanie Wachman
President, ICF Colorado
I am very happy to say that our membership,
our monthly meetings and our teleseminars
have enjoyed the highest level of attendance
that we at ICF Colorado have seen in a very
long while. As a board, we appreciate all that
you bring to our meetings, and find that now is
the time to ask what else we can do to support
you as members.
Last year we were asked for support with ICF
Certification and, as a result, we were very
successful in offering an ICF certification
program taught by our own Judy Sabah. We are thrilled to be able
to offer that program once again this fall. For information, please
email Kelly Johnson for registration information; details will be
posted on the website soon.
Your suggestions, comments and ideas about what else we can do
to benefit you as members would be greatly appreciated, so please
use this time to send us your thoughts. You can send them directly
to me, stephanie@coachinglib.com. We are always looking to grow
and build and can really only do this successfully by getting input
from our members.
This summer, we are looking forward to our joint networking event
with ASTD-RMC and NSA-CO; if you are interested, you can register
now by going to our website; it's on the home page.
Keep in mind that our one-day conference is scheduled for October
17. We are thrilled to have wonderful sponsorship for this event:
Newfield Network (Platinum); Blue Mesa Group (Gold) and A Cuppa
Creative (Bronze).

Note from Tom Lietaert, Communications Director
My apologizes! Shortly after the May meeting, I had a mild heart attack (I had a couple of stents
put in and am doing great). This breakdown, while providing some great opportunities, has turned
my world upside down. In all of the excitement, I seem to have misplaced the cards with the
names of the people who were drawn at the May meeting. If you were one of those people, please
contact me directly at tom@sacredodyssey.com, and I'll be sure to include you in a future issue.
Again, I'm very sorry for this.
FEATURED ARTICLE: Toward More Powerful Questions,

Treasurer, Walt Hastings.

Toward More Powerful Questions, Part 2
In our ongoing efforts to add value to your membership, we're starting a
new feature to our newsletter—the Featured Article. We'd love
to receive submissions from YOU about coaching in your niche, particular processes that you use,
interesting client issues you've coached or anything interesting or fun you'd like to share. This is a
win-win for all of us! While this is not intended to be a sales pitch piece, we would be happy to link
the article submitted back to your website. Feel free to recycle great articles that you've already
written.
If you’d like to submit an article for consideration, send them to: Tom@sacredodyssey.com. Be
sure to include an article (up to one page, ~500-750 words preferred), your name, company name,
contact info, link back to your website (or the blog link if you’ve already published it) and a brief
bio.
We look forward to more great stuff from YOU.

July 2014 ICF Colorado Newsletter

  • 1. ICF Colorado Newsletter July 2014 Message from Stephanie Wachman President, ICF Colorado I am very happy to say that our membership, our monthly meetings and our teleseminars have enjoyed the highest level of attendance that we at ICF Colorado have seen in a very long while. As a board, we appreciate all that you bring to our meetings, and find that now is the time to ask what else we can do to support you as members. Last year we were asked for support with ICF Certification and, as a result, we were very successful in offering an ICF certification program taught by our own Judy Sabah. We are thrilled to be able to offer that program once again this fall. For information, please email Kelly Johnson for registration information; details will be posted on the website soon. Your suggestions, comments and ideas about what else we can do to benefit you as members would be greatly appreciated, so please use this time to send us your thoughts. You can send them directly to me, stephanie@coachinglib.com. We are always looking to grow and build and can really only do this successfully by getting input from our members. This summer, we are looking forward to our joint networking event with ASTD-RMC and NSA-CO; if you are interested, you can register now by going to our website; it's on the home page. Keep in mind that our one-day conference is scheduled for October 17. We are thrilled to have wonderful sponsorship for this event: Newfield Network (Platinum); Blue Mesa Group (Gold) and A Cuppa Creative (Bronze). Shortly after the May meeting, I had a mild heart attack (I had a couple of stents put in and am doing great). This breakdown, while providing some great opportunities, has turned my world upside down. In all of the excitement, I seem to have misplaced the cards with the names of the people who were drawn at the May meeting. If you were one of those people, please contact me directly at tom@sacredodyssey.com, and I'll be sure to include you in a future issue. Again, I'm very sorry for this.
