- People who use services have a right to:- informed choice about their care be safe –but not overprotected make full use of available resources make the most of their lives live a independent life rich in purpose meaning and fulfilment
- BILL CONTENT Principles of self-directed support. Duty to offer the choices Duty to provide the citizen’s preferred choice Power for local authorities to support carers. The law on Direct Payments. Capacity? Restrictions? only when there is clear justification.
