Worked as a developer in a startup company
that provides search technology for various online shops in Russia.
Responsible for Query Expansion (including synonyms
and transliterations) and spelling correction algorithms.
Jan. – Dec. 2013 GoMovie
GoMovie was a Web service offering its users an easy way to
select movies and theaters and purchase tickets online. The service
implemented film suggestion component based on user's location,
social networking profiles and personal preferences.
As а Python developer, I implemented a fully automated
machine-learning based film review classifier capable of collecting
reviews from the whole Russian segment of Internet, and linking
them to film description entries in an unsupervised mode.
Аug. – Dec. 2012 Yandex
Internship in the Spelling Correction and Machine Translation Service.
Wrote maintenance scripts for automatic dictionary. Learned basic
skills of development in a large team, acquired some UNIX familiarity.
