2011 was a year filled with challenges. It was a year in which our efforts were focused fi rmly on improving the competitiveness of companies in the Basque Country through the incorporation of environmental aspects into their management, and on consolidating the region as one of the most advanced in Europe in relation to sustainability. We look to the future with confidence, convinced that we will be able to live up to the expectations of our various special interest groups. Our ambition remains unchanged and we are fully committed to generating enthusiasm and value on firm, sustainable foundations.
