Kailash Pat Agarwala, with a few years of experience in Gray cast iron castings,
dared to venture out on his own, setting up a company named Shree Jagannath
Ferro Casting.

Kailash Pat Agarwala, with a few years of experience in Gray cast iron castings,
dared to venture out on his own, setting up a company named Shree Jagannath
Ferro Casting (SJFC).
It did not take very long for the company to excel under his stewardship and
soon the company became a name to be reckoned with in the manufacture of
Railway Sleeper Castings. It was in fact one of the leading suppliers to the
railway industry of the Indian Govt. sector, as well as a mass supplier of line
materials to the Department of Telecommunication (D.O.T) in India. Besides the
Government Sector the company was also into manufacturing and exporting, of
sanitary castings, in a big way and catered to a global market, covering
countries in the United States of America, Europe and Middle East. By the year
1992 the company shifted totally into manufacturing and exporting of sanitary
castings and continued catering to the international market.
