 Screening tool > actions which can be integrated into the design
 Preparatory activities such as Scoping Study where there are likely to be high gender impacts –
ensure analysis of gender issues to be addressed in design
 Gender equality objectives if high gender equality impact
 Gender sensitive indicators for collection of gender disaggregated data eg training
participants; access to watsan; hygiene activities; membership of committees, organisations
 Appropriate gender specialist resources specified in the design or implementing consultants’
team if significant gender impact
 Promoting and communicating about gender equality to implementing consultants
especially TLs, counterparts (eg meeting with DGLT yesterday), LGs, community
