• Unlike a conventional listing, an auction brings the best possible offer with a
predetermined time frame – often as little as 30 days.
SAFE
• Real Estate auctions are typically subject to confirmation. The final decision
to sell is left to the owner. The owner can accept, reject or counter any

4. AUCTION METHOD
• Executor sets the sale date, typically within 30 – 60
days.
• Competitive bidding brings fair market price with
excitement that only an auction brings.
• Auctions are safe. Real Estate is sold “subject to
confirmation”. The Executor can accept, reject or
counter any offer.
• The winning bidder is required to make a down
payment the day of the sale. This eliminates time
spent with unqualified buyers and excessive
showings.
• No contingencies. The home is sold “As Is, Where
Is”.
• Closing typically occurs within 30 days after the

• Executor signs a six month listing agreement.
