2. CPU
Central processing unit is the
hardware within the computer
which carry outs instructions of a
computer programme. There are
two typical components in a CPU,
arithmetic logic unit and a control
unit. The differences between
single core and dual core are that
single core can only run one
operation but dual core can run
many different operations asked.
Also 32 bit can only access up to 4
GB of ram, apposed to 64 bit which
can run 1.845 x 10 x 10 GB.
3. RAM
Random Access Memory is a form
of computer data storage. Its
used to access data quickly in any
random order. The first RAM
modules to come into the market
were created in 1951 and were
sold until the late 1960s and early
1970s. It loses its data when its
switched off, as it only stores
spare copy's not the original copy.
4. GRAPHICS CARD
A graphics card mostly known
as a video card is an expansion
card which generates feed to
the output images to a display.
Modern motherboards provide
an expansion port which the
video card can be connected
too. There is no direct link but
the video card should match
the capabilities of the monitor
i.e. HD.
5. HEAT SINK
A heat sink Is a component that is
used too cool electronic devices
within the computer. Heat sinks
can be known as heat exchangers
also found refrigerators and air
conditioning systems.
6. MOTHERBOARD
A motherboard is known as a
printed circuit board. It is mostly
found in all modern computers, it
holds most crucial components
for example the ram or the CPU.
Motherboard holds together the
main components of the
computer and provides the
necessary electrical buses to
power the adapter cards and
chips.
