The Tallahassee Museum of Florida History is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm, Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Sunday/holidays from noon to 4:30pm. It offers monthly family programs on the second Saturday and history talks on the fourth Tuesday. Visitors can learn about Florida's history from early Native American tribes and Spanish explorers to the Civil War and civil rights movement.

• 2nd Saturday family programs- Come out on the 2nd Saturday of each
month for hands on history for every member of the family.
• Mid day program- Come out the 4th Tuesday of every month to listen
to local experts discuss topics on Florida history from 12:00 to 12:45
and stay after for a brief tour of our facility.
