have authority although they have
been fooled which also makes them
seem to be push overs to the audience.

that they are both very worried
about the character. This shows
the audience that he is pretending
to be ill and successfully got off of

not putting up any resistance to get up
and pretends that he actually wants to
get up when we know he doesn’t.
showing him to be a bit of a crafty

would know that no real

so it almost introduces the

sort of the bully of the scene or
as the actual voice of the what
the audience would associate
with the typical American cool
kid.

interests them more to pay more

them to start to get a feel for
what sort of a personality this
character will have.
