2. George Lucas in Love
Unlike many feature length film posters,
George Lucas in Love’s short film poster
features an uncommon cartoon like look.
Further still, this poster is predominantly two
colours, brown and white giving an almost old
Victorian style feel. This may be to link in with
the Shakespeare spoof style of the film.
Similarly, the film also incorporates elements
of Star Wars style films, represented by the
added white effects.

3. Across The Hall – Feature and Short
The 2005 short film Across The Hall was later produced
into a feature length film in 2009. Here are both posters,
both of which targeting different audiences, whilst also
being set at a different budgets.
Firstly, the short film poster (left) combines some
elements of a regular feature length film poster with
other more less common techniques. Similar to in that
actors names are stated on
the poster along with a large
area covered by the films title.
In contrast the short film poster includes a screenshot
from the actual film, something rarely used in feature
length film posters. Instead the feature length poster
(right) uses a number of the characters faces from the film
merged into one.
