JANE
I specialise in online communications. In getting my clients’ messages seen, understood and
acted upon, wherever they are on the web.
I’ve done a fair amount of offline work; but the Internet is definitely my favourite writing
medium. I understand how people read online, what works and what doesn’t, the importance
of good calls to action – whatever that action might be. I write search-engine-friendly copy
that’s good for human visitors to read!
And I understand how important it is to be part of a strong creative team. Content might be
king – but it can do nothing without great design, SEM, SEO and web builders. I really believe
that great web projects grow from teams that work closely. And that includes the client!

Christmas were able to raise enough money to care for and treat our patients and their
families.
Direct Mail
We were able to help more people cope with their life-threatening illness, both at home and as inpatients; give
support to their families and carers; and develop ground-breaking patient-care procedures that have been taken up
nationally.
As a renowned centre of excellence in specialist palliative care, we are a literal life-line for over 3,000 people every
year in Greater Manchester and Cheshire. And without your support, none of this could happen. Because excellence
costs. And as Government funding only covers about one third of our operating costs, we have to raise more than
£16,000 every single day to keep our doors open. To be there for people who really need us. And we couldn’t do it
without you.
Help make a real difference locally for people with a life-threatening illness
I know you’re one of our supporters, so I hope you don’t mind my asking if you can make a regular gift of just £3 a
month to support the vital work we’re doing.
Yes, just £3 a month. That’s all I’m asking you for. Less than a pint of
beer, or a take-away coffee. Why such a small amount? Because we’re
talking about the power of community – of combined action.
And that will make a very real difference to people in Greater
Manchester. People like Melanie Smith who was able to have
reflexology at home when she was so ill. Like Bev Avary who was
overwhelmed by the support she and her family got from our Neil
Cliffe Centre staff. You’ll find more real-life stories in the leaflet I’ve
sent with this letter.

Procrastination-Buster Day?
Landing page Well, here’s excellent news for anyone
who wants to nail that To-Do List,
and get things done!
If you’re a procrastinator you know only too well how procrastination can blight your life.
Do these problems sound familiar?
· The same things show up week after week on your to-do list but never get done
· You put things off until the very last minute and meet deadlines by the skin of your teeth
· There are incomplete tasks and projects lying around your home or office

I know all of this because for as long as I can remember I’ve been a procrastinator. And I know
from personal experience what a nightmare it can be.
Like you, I know all the things you’re supposed to do to combat procrastination: Make a list of
priorities — do the thing you’re avoiding first — chunk it down into smaller steps — give
yourself a reward for completing the task… But we all know that, while these make perfect
sense, THEY DON’T WORK!
10. ANNABEL Somehow, knowing what you ought to be doing just makes things worse and you end up

keeping up the momentum and staying on track.

Landing page cont’d Procrastination-Buster Day you share your gnarly tasks with a group of others and you
make yourself accountable to them for getting your tasks done. It may sound intimidating,
but it’s not. It’s a very safe space. Everyone else is in the same boat and understands your
challenges. It works a treat, everyone gets lots done and really enjoys themselves.
By taking part you will:
· Get started on that project you’ve been putting off
· Get jobs done that have been on your To-Do List for AGES
· Take action and keep the momentum going
· Do more in one day than you have in weeks
· Have fun doing it
· Raise money for charity
We all need a little kick sometimes to get ourselves moving. Knowing someone is
checking up on me, both with positive feedback and gentle reminders, gave me the
motivation to get my jobs done. Ricky, BMS, Southampton
