Dear client,
My name is Jeanette Tobey and I am the owner and Design Director at Tobey &
Associates, a leader in customized event marketing.
At Tobey & Associates we strive to keep our reputation of excellence by deliver-
ing on client requirements while maintaining an organized yet energetic atmo-
sphere. We have a unique approach to creative campaign and promotional
development and understand the power of connecting the customer with a
positive experience both online and offline.

Each member brings a wealth of experience from diverse brands and catego-
ries to leverage as a combined resource for any project we take on.
Tobey & Associates areas of expertise are within fashion, event design, research,
strategy, creative concepts, execution, web, social media and project man-
agement.
Agency team
Dorota Simpson
Dorota is a creative, approachable individual who has been
involved in event planning, marketing, project management
and public relations for over 15 years. She has held several
high profile positions including working in the press office for
the Prime Minister of Canada and has also worked interna-
tionally for Commonwealth Games Canada’s International
Development through Sport Program and Walt Disney World.
Dorota, a graduate of the University of Ottawa, is fluent in
English, French, Polish, and is working on her fourth language,
Spanish.
In prior years Dorota worked as a project manager for a leading advertising firm in Toronto
where she oversaw many successful marketing campaigns.
Dorota previously operated a successful events and adventure business in Chicago, USA. As
the President and “Chief of Exciting Adventures”, Dorota had many TV appearances in the
US, including the Today Show and Fox News. Dorota was also a regular contributor to “To-
day’s Chicago Woman” magazine.
In her spare time, Dorota enjoys watching and playing sports, travelling and believes in giv-
ing back to her community . She has been involved with several charities such as Voice For
Hearing Impaired Children, Dreams Take Flight, and has also mentored young entrepreneurs.
Kathleen Knott
Kathleen is a very passionate and innovative web and graph-
ic designer with over 15 years experience and lives by the
motto “learn something new everyday”. Kathleen’s work
ethic and dedication to each project becomes her personal
journey, where she literally adopts each project.
Kathleen is an integral member of the Tobey & Associates
team and leads all creative design components of client
projects. She lives, breathes and sleeps both design and so-
cial media staying on top of the current trends.
No matter how large or small the job she can transform key
messages into creative visuals that speak with your target au-
dience. Kathleen has worked with brands such as Cadillac Fairview, TELUS, Crayola, Hallmark,
SONY managing the job from concept to print management.
Kathleen’s eclectic style, unparalleled professionalism and acclaimed attention to detail has
the ability to turn your brand into a star among planets on the world-wide-web.
In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys travelling, discovering new music, yoga, meditation and a
good cuppa tea! Namaste.
Jeanette Tobey
Well known in the event industry, Jeanette Tobey has a rep-
utation as the “go-to” event planner for events of all sizes
and budgets. Be it your dream wedding, a product launch
or an industry trade show, Jeanette has a track record of
taking events to a whole new level of excellence and mak-
ing them a success.
Jeanette has over 20 years in the events industry with ex-
perience ranging from coordinating weddings to planning
and executing full service corporate events. Her events are
truly interactive – providing customers the opportunity to
experience a product or service from concept to execu-
tion. Jeanette is committed to achieving the highest level
of excellence in every event.
In recent years, Jeanette has planned and executed successful events and campaigns
for clients such as Morguard, Cadillac Fairview, Prada, Tim Hortons, TELUS and CTV. With
incredible knowledge of the event industry, Jeanette takes pride in turning visions into
reality by being leading edge by leveraging a vast network of internal and external alli-
ances she’s amassed over the years.
Jeanette has tremendous sensitivity to corporate pressures in today’s economic envi-
ronment and works within clients’ budgets to achieve event goals, always delivering a
meaningful, memorable and magical time for guests.
In her spare time Jeanette loves to travel, play golf and entertain family and friends (in
style of course). Her adventurous side has taken her to heights of over 14,000 feet hiking
up Machu Picchu, Peru and going even higher making Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania her
next stop.

BCC Bramalea City Cenre - FashioniCITY events
Tobey & Associates designed the FashioniCITY an exclusive NewYork City
destination event hosted by Tracy Moore from CityLine. Members enjoyed
a New York City inspired evening filled with food, fashion and beauty tips.
One lucky member won a $15,000 Shoppers Dream Trip for 2 to NewYork
City. As a result, we were asked to design and execute four additional
events in 2013.

PUIG Canada (Prada)
In 2013, PUIG Canada purchased Clarins Canada. PUIG introduced Clarins
Canada to their exclusive fragrance line during their national sales meeting
in Cancun, Mexico.
Tobey & Associates was hired to travel to Cancun, Mexico to design and
execute their designer showrooms. The approach was to introduce and
showcase each signature fragrance from the PUIG Universe highlighting
the following brands.

•	 Paco Rabanne
•	 Million
•	 Million Dollar
•	 Valentino
•	 Nina Ricci
•	 Black XS
The theme of the event presented each brand with distinct elements built
for each sample area. The setting highlighted oils, florals and spices specific
to each fragrance design. The event had wonderful flow and each brand
was uniquily featured.

Runway Crush Branding & Design
RunwayCrush is a luxurious online shopping mall inviting trendsetters, fashion
gurus and enthusiasts alike to shop local emerging and veteran designers!

Cadillac Fairview - Shops at Don Mills
In 2013, Shops at Don Mills hired Tobey & Associates to plan and execute their
Holiday Campaign in order to increase sales, in-store traffic, awareness and mar-
ket share throughout the holiday season. The campaign included community
events, created a memorable experience for families and encouraged them to
go shopping for their holiday needs at Shops at Don Mills.
Based on the client needs Tobey & Associates came up with the following cam-
paign concept “ Be our Guest for the Holidays”.
CAMPAIGN CALENDAR
Be our Guest at Shops at Don Mills campaign included a variety of events, contests and
workshops, making the shopping experience fun for the whole family.

Global Toy Drive Live
Global Toronto and Shops at Don Mills teamed up to host the annual Holiday
Tree Lighting Ceremony and Toy Drive Live in support of the Toronto Fire Fighters’
Association. Tobey & Associates managed and enhansed this event with a vari-
ety of live entertainment and activities for families to enjoy.
Events & workshops
POOCH PICS WITH SANTA
Dogs got to put their best paw forward and pose with Santa before being spoiled
with treats from the Treat Bar. Each guest was emailed a branded photo free of
charge.

KARMA YOGA SPONSORED BY TITIKA
Guests got to take a deep breath during the busy holiday season with a candle
lit Karma Yoga class courtesy of Titika in the Holiday Studio.
HOLIDAY SHOP HOP
Nine retailers at Shops at Don Mills invited guests into their stores for appetizers
and drinks during the Holiday Shop Hop. Each Wednesday different retailers
opened their doors for a special 30 minute session and offered guests exclusive
discounts and promotions.
HOLIDAY FLORAL WORKSHOP hosted by Frankie Flowers
Breakfast Television’s Frankie Flowers stopped by Shops at Don Mills’ Holiday Studio
to teach guests how to create their holiday outdoor containers and window boxes.
Appetizers and drinks were served and each guest received a welcome gift.

Agency team Dorota Simpson Dorota is a creative, approachable individual who has been involved in event planning, marketing, project management and public relations for over 15 years. She has held several high profile positions including working in the press office for the Prime Minister of Canada and has also worked interna- tionally for Commonwealth Games Canada’s International Development through Sport Program and Walt Disney World. Dorota, a graduate of the University of Ottawa, is fluent in English, French, Polish, and is working on her fourth language, Spanish. In prior years Dorota worked as a project manager for a leading advertising firm in Toronto where she oversaw many successful marketing campaigns. Dorota previously operated a successful events and adventure business in Chicago, USA. As the President and “Chief of Exciting Adventures”, Dorota had many TV appearances in the US, including the Today Show and Fox News. Dorota was also a regular contributor to “To- day’s Chicago Woman” magazine. In her spare time, Dorota enjoys watching and playing sports, travelling and believes in giv- ing back to her community . She has been involved with several charities such as Voice For Hearing Impaired Children, Dreams Take Flight, and has also mentored young entrepreneurs. Kathleen Knott Kathleen is a very passionate and innovative web and graph- ic designer with over 15 years experience and lives by the motto “learn something new everyday”. Kathleen’s work ethic and dedication to each project becomes her personal journey, where she literally adopts each project. Kathleen is an integral member of the Tobey & Associates team and leads all creative design components of client projects. Jeanette has over 20 years in the events industry with ex- perience ranging from coordinating weddings to planning and executing full service corporate events. Members enjoyed a New York City inspired evening filled with food, fashion and beauty tips. One lucky member won a $15,000 Shoppers Dream Trip for 2 to NewYork City.   • 9. 14 15 work sample two PUIG Canada (Prada) In 2013, PUIG Canada purchased Clarins Canada. PUIG introduced Clarins Canada to their exclusive fragrance line during their national sales meeting in Cancun, Mexico. Tobey & Associates was hired to travel to Cancun, Mexico to design and execute their designer showrooms. The approach was to introduce and showcase each signature fragrance from the PUIG Universe highlighting the following brands. • Prada • Prada Candy • Paco Rabanne • Million • Million Dollar • Valentino • Nina Ricci • Black XS The theme of the event presented each brand with distinct elements built for each sample area.   • 11. 18 19 work sample four Cadillac Fairview - Shops at Don Mills In 2013, Shops at Don Mills hired Tobey & Associates to plan and execute their Holiday Campaign in order to increase sales, in-store traffic, awareness and mar- ket share throughout the holiday season. The campaign included community events, created a memorable experience for families and encouraged them to go shopping for their holiday needs at Shops at Don Mills. Based on the client needs Tobey & Associates came up with the following cam- paign concept “ Be our Guest for the Holidays”. CAMPAIGN CALENDAR Be our Guest at Shops at Don Mills campaign included a variety of events, contests and workshops, making the shopping experience fun for the whole family.
  • 12. 20 21 Global Toy Drive Live Global Toronto and Shops at Don Mills teamed up to host the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony and Toy Drive Live in support of the Toronto Fire Fighters’ Association. Tobey & Associates managed and enhansed this event with a vari- ety of live entertainment and activities for families to enjoy. Events & workshops POOCH PICS WITH SANTA Dogs got to put their best paw forward and pose with Santa before being spoiled with treats from the Treat Bar. Each guest was emailed a branded photo free of charge.
  • 13. 22 23 KARMA YOGA SPONSORED BY TITIKA Guests got to take a deep breath during the busy holiday season with a candle lit Karma Yoga class courtesy of Titika in the Holiday Studio. HOLIDAY SHOP HOP Nine retailers at Shops at Don Mills invited guests into their stores for appetizers and drinks during the Holiday Shop Hop. Each Wednesday different retailers opened their doors for a special 30 minute session and offered guests exclusive discounts and promotions. HOLIDAY FLORAL WORKSHOP hosted by Frankie Flowers Breakfast Television’s Frankie Flowers stopped by Shops at Don Mills’ Holiday Studio to teach guests how to create their holiday outdoor containers and window boxes. Appetizers and drinks were served and each guest received a welcome gift.
