but already 2012 is shaping up to
be a period of immense challenge.
A major election looms, including
a ballot initiative that, if passed by
the voters of Massachusetts, would
effectively end tenure for teachers in
the state’s public schools. Meanwhile
teachers and other public employees
continue to deal with the impact of
new legislation and regulatory changes
