TES Overview: Timeline
•

1993 - Thermal Environmental Systems, Inc. was founded by Larry Thomas
• Out of his Lakewood duplex
• Primary market focus was design/build contracting

•

1995 - Steve Chase joined the company

•

1999 - TES leased a commercial property on Detroit Road

•

2001 - Adopted the name TES (Thermal Environmental Systems)

•

2006 - Moved to present location

•

2008 - Began the expansion into the training area

•

2014 - TES rebrands – introduces new logo, TES National Brands, and website

TES Office Basics
•

Office Hours are 8:30AM-5:30PM
• Our main telephone number is 440-871-2410

• Steve Chase will set-up your alarm code and provide you with an office key
• You can work in the office at an earlier or later time, but it is expected you will be present
in the office between 8:30AM-5:30PM

•

Parking is permitted on the sides of the building or in the back
• There is one reserved spot for the tenant in the back where you may not park; it is clearly
labeled

•

TES Recyles
• Print in black & white, double-sided unless needed otherwise

• All waste receptacles are recyclable; no food items are permitted

on the same e-mail it is the

the client folder

Basic Folder Structure
•

All drives on the network are shared, with the exception of the U
drive.
• The U Drive is where you keep your personal documents. If it is client
or TES related it should NOT go into your U drive

•

The most common drives you will use are the Client (G:) and TES
(T:) drives
• All client folders are sorted first by raving fan. For example, Simon
Property Group is our raving fan, our major account, but most of the
work we do is with the individual malls. Therefore, in order to find the
work we’ve done with a particular mall, such as Solomon Pond, we
must first look for the raving fan folder, Simon. Furthermore, we’ve
done several jobs for Simon at Solomon Pond. Further drilling into the
folder structure would show you all of the project folders.

•

These drives are backed up daily. It is crucial to ensure we are
only backing up what is needed.
• Delete several draft versions of the same document

TES Holidays
•

TES observes seven holidays each year:
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day

•

TES employees also receive one Floating Holiday to be
used on:
• Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve; or
• ½ day on Christmas Eve and ½ day on New Year’s Eve

TES Office Basics • Office Hours are 8:30AM-5:30PM • Our main telephone number is 440-871-2410 • Steve Chase will set-up your alarm code and provide you with an office key • You can work in the office at an earlier or later time, but it is expected you will be present in the office between 8:30AM-5:30PM • Parking is permitted on the sides of the building or in the back • There is one reserved spot for the tenant in the back where you may not park; it is clearly labeled • TES Recyles • Print in black & white, double-sided unless needed otherwise • All waste receptacles are recyclable; no food items are permitted 2/5/2014 10

  • 12. Outlook Folder Structure • All client or business related e-mails should be filed in Outlook public folders • Do not duplicate filed e-mails • If several people are copied on the same e-mail it is the responsibility of the first person listed to file it in the client folder 2/5/2014 12
  • 14. Basic Folder Structure • All drives on the network are shared, with the exception of the U drive. • The U Drive is where you keep your personal documents. If it is client or TES related it should NOT go into your U drive • The most common drives you will use are the Client (G:) and TES (T:) drives • All client folders are sorted first by raving fan. For example, Simon Property Group is our raving fan, our major account, but most of the work we do is with the individual malls. Therefore, in order to find the work we’ve done with a particular mall, such as Solomon Pond, we must first look for the raving fan folder, Simon. Furthermore, we’ve done several jobs for Simon at Solomon Pond. Further drilling into the folder structure would show you all of the project folders. • These drives are backed up daily. It is crucial to ensure we are only backing up what is needed. • Delete several draft versions of the same document 2/5/2014 14

TES Holidays • TES observes seven holidays each year: • New Year’s Day • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Day after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day • TES employees also receive one Floating Holiday to be used on: • Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve; or • ½ day on Christmas Eve and ½ day on New Year’s Eve 2/5/2014 15
