Event
Whitman School students help the school achieve recognition,
especially in the area of entrepreneurship. In November of
2013 at the First Global Entrepreneurship Week in Walla Walla,
Washington, Whitman students earned first place for the Pain
in the Glass contest. The contest challenged contestants to
devise solutions to the community problem of glass waste. The
Pain in the Glass event represented the week's emphasis on
the potential of creative entrepreneurism, start-ups, and small
businesses.
