Who Else Has Heard About The Herbalife Scam?
1. Herbalife Scam: Who Else Wants a Herbalife Review?
Now the reason that you are on this site is simply because you need to know for yourself
if Herbalife is a scam (The infamous Herbalife Scam), well I will do my best to provide
you an honest Herbalife review, I am not a distributor nor have I been ,but that doesn’t
stop me from being able to give you an unbiased straight forward review. As a matter of
fact this is one benefit because I certainly have nothing to gain if I praise the company
and I have nothing to gain if I trash it either. I came across Herbalife back in the mid ‘90s
when one of my friend’s mom was a distributor.
HERBALIFE SCAM – COMPANY OVERVIEW
The company distributes its products in 88 countries (as of December 2012) through a
network of approximately 2.7 million independent distributors, some of whom earn profit
on product sales and additional commission from a multi-level marketing (MLM)
compensation structure.
Herbalife International is a publicly traded multi-level marketing company that sells
nutrition, weight management and skin-care products. The company was founded in 1980
by Mark Hughes, and it employs around 5,000 people worldwide. Herbalife reported net
sales of US$3.45 billion in 2011 with a retail sales turn over of US$5.1 billion with an
increase of US$1.1 billion retail sales on 2010.Though incorporated in the Cayman
Islands, its corporate headquarters are in Los Angeles, California, United States.
HERBALIFE SCAM – HERBALIFE REVIEW OF PRODUCTS
2. To really know if there is a Herbalife scam one of the best ways would be to take a look
at the products that they are selling. Usually when a company is a scam, the product
would be of inferior quality and not be able to stand the test of time. The Herbalife scam
if it existed, includes protein shakes, protein snacks, nutrition, energy and fitness
supplements and personal care products. Their flagship product is The Formula 1 protein
shake, a soy-based meal-replacement shake, and was one of the first products sold by the
company.
The second ingredient listed is sugar in the form of fructose. The protein source is from
Soy which the most recent research indicates that soy is not only detrimental to your
hormone/endocrine system but mostly importantly that 95% of the worlds Soy is
genetically modified. You can purpose non-GM Soy products in health food stores but
there is nothing to indicate that the Soy used in this product is not genetically modified.
The third ingredient is Corn Bran (another highly genetically modified product). The
ingredient list continues to list other fillers and additives.
Now, having these ingredients doesn’t bring the Herbalife scam into reality. This is
because the definition of a scam is a fraudulent scheme, or to swindle. As you can see,
just by definition alone that Herbalife products are not a scam.
HERBALIFE SCAM REVIEW - Is Herbalife A Good
Business Opportunity?
The myth or legend of the (Infamous) Herbalife scam can be debunked by the mere fact
that if their independent distributors don’t profit, it would not be long before the chips
began to crumble and the rest of the company begins to fall to pieces. As with any
business opportunity or investment there is always a chance that you will lose some
money. However, the goal is always to make more than you lose and if you set up your
3. Herbalife business or any other network marketing business the correct way you greatly
increase your chances of success.
I could not have chose a worse day for some distributors to do a blog post because of the
fact that news is breaking on every major circuit amidst some insider trader secrets being
revealed, which caused the company’s stock to be halted. The news does not mean that
Herbalife has done anything wrong or have been accused with any wrong-doings,
however their auditing firm KPMG announced on its Web site that it had fired a senior
partner in its Los Angeles office because of the suspected passing of confidential
information.
The news added to a swirl of publicity surrounding the so called Herbalife scam, that has
been battling several hedge fund managers. One of which has such strong convictions
that Herbalife is a “pyramid scheme,” he has a $1 billion bet in the place that the price of
the stock will drop. This alone does not mean that the Herbalife scam is indeed real,
however it gives one a reason to dig deeper for knowledge about the company and do
more research.
HERBALIFE SCAM COMPENSATION – Does
Herbalife Pay Well?
Herbalife has one of the best compensation plans in the network marketing industry,
paying back 73% of the turnover to the independent distributors. Herbalife likes for the
distributor to keep a bit of personal inventory to allow you to be able to make immediate
retail profit. The initial start-up fee is only $49.95, which is a very reasonable and
affordable fee to get started in a business. This automatically puts you at the first level in
the compensation plan and entitles you to the 25% discount.
The more products you and your distributors purchase during any given month, the
higher your discount will be. 25% – Distributor, 35% – Senior Consultant, 42% –
Success Builder and 50% – Supervisor are the initial levels.
Once your royalties increase to above 1,000 for three consecutive months, you qualify to
the Global Expansion Team, where after a further monthly passive income, called a
production bonus, starts kicking in. At that level your production bonus is 2% on the total
turnover of your whole supervisor network, infinitely deep. Once your Royalties increase
to above 4,000 for three consecutive months, you qualify to the Millionaire Team, and
your production bonus will increase to 4%. Once your Royalties increase to above 10,000
for three consecutive months, you will qualify to the Presidents Team, where after your
production bonus increases to 6%. Once you are at the President’s Team level and one of
your distributors also reaches this level, you will start sharing in a 1% yearly bonus pot,
where 1% of Herbalife’s total turnover for that year, get’s shared amongst the top earners.
They key to becoming successful in the so-called Herbalife scam as in any other home
based business is by being able to generate a constant flow of red-hot, laser-focused leads
4. on a daily basis. This will help you and your fellow business owners to get into profits as
