release of cholesterol and triglycerides into the blood stream. With
chronic stress, you are causing your body to work in that elevated
and unhealthy zone frequently which can lead to heart disease
and other complications. Doctors have also noted that sudden
emotional stress can result in serious cardiac problems including
heart attacks.
2) Stress causes higher levels of the hormone cortisol which
is linked to increased fat deposits around the abdomen. Increased

DNA of mothers who were under high stress with women who
were not. Researchers found that a particular region of the
chromosomes showed the effects of accelerated aging to the tune
of about 9 to 17 additional years.
