2. Jobs I Would Like To Do
Floor Manager - Floor managers must be able to work under pressure with composure, anticipate
potential problems and know how to address them, communicate effectively and quickly, be able
to work with different personalities, and know how to multitask.
Television Director – The Director is responsible for supervising the placement of professional
video cameras (camera blocking), lighting equipment, microphones, and props. In a dramatic arts
production, the television director's role can be similar to that of a film director, giving cues to
actors and directing the video tape operator when to start and stop the video tape recorder
(VTR).
Cameraman - Important camera operator skills include choreographing and framing shots
knowledge of and the ability to select appropriate camera lenses, and other equipment (dollies,
camera cranes, etc.) to portray dramatic scenes. The principles of dramatic story telling and film
editing fundamentals are important skills as well. The camera operator is required to
communicate clearly and concisely on sets where time and film budget constraints are ever
present
3. Work Experience
I spent 2 weeks working for Salford City Council
Grounds Maintenance Team at Victoria Park in
Swinton and I had to do tasks such as litter
picking etc to ensure the park was safe for the
public.
